Q: I saw the recommendation suggestion in other review regarding bar length but just out of curiosity will the 6 foot bar work as well or will it be too short?

    2 Piece Bench

    The seat was bent at an angle. The two support bars were drilled differently so they dont match up. I'm lifting at a cock-eyed angle! In process of getting replacement pieces but we will see.....process slow so far.

    Really good bench

    Great bench and just what I needed. My only want is that the seat would pivot up and down and the feet on the bench had floor grips. Other than that great and sturdy. Easy to put together, I did it myself.

    Poor paint

    Good machine, although not necessarily great for a 6’5” person. In addition, while assembling, I noticed several scratches to the paint and bubbling where the paint did not adhere well. I’ll use it, but not happy with the condition of the product via shipping or manufacturing with regards to its paint job.

    Great home gym option

    Package arrived in good condition. Assembly is fairly straightforward. I bought this bench purely for the weight bench portion ( and I did not assemble the preacher curl or leg extension portion ). I am very satisfied with the quality. The bench and rack will work great for a home gym to be able to do bench press/incline press and to be able to use the rack as a standalone for squats or military press. Also, one reason I purchased this bench was because the bench detaches and can be stored with a smaller footprint, and you have the option to use the bench for dumbbell press and flys apart from the rack. The seat does not tilt up to a full 90 degrees , but you have options for incline presses. As many reviewers have written, if you are lifting really heavy weights this will be unsatisfactory, however, if you are in the beginning to intermediate range like me ( bench press up to 250lbs or so) this is a really nice piece of home gym equipment for a really nice price

    Bought it for my husband and he loves it. Easy to assemble but it just took him a little longer because he didn't have the right socket size nor wrench. He is 5'7" and his feet barely reaches the ground when he's on the bench. Very sturdy and the instructions are great for visual learners.

    Exercise Buff

    I received my weight bench last week and was impressed with how easy it was to assemble. It is of very high quality, same as I used at the gym, and I'll bet will last for ever. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with a book of exercises, but a quick research session on the internet took care of that. I would recommend this bench to anyone serious about improving their physical health. Thanks Target, this is just what I wanted!
