Carregenen is used as a thickener, which has made me sick. I was so happy to have chicken pot pie, childhood memories, only to have them dashed. You know, these pot pies could be a positive food choice without some of the ingredient choices that Marie's made.

Seams to have changed something, now when I microwave them they come out dry and gooey, not moist and tender. I think the box is different. The microwave is the same one.

I usually buy the individual serving size pot pies, but decided to try the family size. It was really good! The crust came out lightly browned and flakey, the way it should. There were decent sized pieces of white meat chicken and vegetables in a yummy filling. I will buy this again.

I just bought and cooked the individual chicken pot pies for my young (9 and 11 years old) neighbors who had never eaten a chicken pot pie. They liked them and wanted to eat more at one sitting/meal. I appreciated the detailed cooking instructions including testing the doneness with a food thermometer. However, the sodium content of 950mg in one individual pie, one serving for a growing child is very high. The Mayo Clinic recommends less than 1800mg of sodium for children 9 - 13 years old on a daily basis. The individual chicken pot pie is over half that amount of sodium. I am a 66 year old woman and 950mg is also more than half of the amount of sodium per day that is recommended for me. Please reduce the amount of sodium in this product.

I really like the beef pot pies but have to buy a number of them to feed my family. I thought we'd give this a try, but definitely nothing like the beef pot pies. Hopefully you'll make a family size beef pot pie.

It's hard to imagine that we can send people into space,transplant major organs to save lives,but you cannot offer a product that steps of tin foil must be used to cover the edges when baking this product. Very inconvenient. Include some sort of protective ring within the packaging.Be creative and make this a consumer friendly product. I will take my business elsewhere. Adam Bledsoe

This is my all time favorite frozen chicken pot pie. It doesn’t taste like a frozen meal. It’s very easy to make and kids love it. No need for dirty dishes .. you are able to cook this right in the package.

What a disappointment. Have always bought the individual size and love them. This size was not in the correct proportion of filling and crust to liquid. After baking per instructions, we had to pour the liquid off.

These pot pies taste really good and they are the only ones I can find that has a bottom crust. Bottom crust is my favorite part. I love that they're fresh and easy on the salt. Pop these in an oven , & make a side salad for an easy meal that tastes yummy! More chunks of chicken in them than other brands. The crust is light & flakey too. My family loves them.

I cook most meals from scratch, but my husband and I call frozen stuff "emergency meals." These are for times when I simply cannot stand to cook, or else we have too much going on. This family size pot pie is huge; says it serves 6, although my husband is a big eater, so in our house, this serves 4. Two for dinner. Two for lunch the day following. I DO wish all prepared food manufacturers would reduce the SALT in their meals by at least half. Truly, the meals would taste just as good, because a little salt goes a long way.

I hungrily add instructions on the package to NOT remove outer packaging, except the top, where useless perforation was provided. But the instructions then added I was to wrap tin foil around rim of pot pie. In other words, I was to leave in the outer packaging but place tin foil around the pot pie that was still in packaging!? If pie remains in most of packaging, how was I to wrap the tin foil? Confusing. Then I find no place to offer feedback except here. If anyone from the company ever reads it.

Now, they come in a plastic pan (the metal pan cooked the pie better), they are saltier, the chicken is not the same quality (peculiar canned chicken taste), and it seems that the gravy to chicken/veggie ratio has changed significantly. :( Not happy with the changes.

When you have a holiday dinner to prepare before that special outing and not enough time to prepare from scratch and add in for picky eaters, this is the way to go. Enough for all to go aroud. You can stretch it even further with a great salad.

Besides homemade these were the closest to it. I love the thickness of the crust, the nice large pieces of vegetables and the creaminess of the sauce. If you have not had these, you should definitely a home cooked feel!
