Max & Lily Solid Wood Modern Farmhouse High Loft Bed, Twin Bed Frame For Kids, Barnwood Brown

We’ve had this bed for nearly 3 years now and it’s served us really well so far. We have two of them, and they’ve both held up about the same. It’s not a perfect bed, but we appreciate that it’s made entirely of solid wood, making it easy to shore up and modify without worrying about damaging the integrity of the materials. We have found some things to consider after a few years of wear and tear: 1) We have to retighten the screws every so often or the bed sways terribly when the kids climb up. As they get older (now 11 & 9, 55/50lbs) the structure is definitely less stable, but tightening up all the screws once or twice a year helps. I would also recommend checking all screws any time the bed is moved throughout the room. We will likely add some bracing as well. 2. We bought the white wash color and it’s definitely a LIGHT wash. When we opened the box, there were several spots that had basically no coloring at all, and the company was very gracious to give us a partial refund when I sent pictures. However, we’ve noticed that over time it’s faded even more. Painted options probably have much better longevity. 3. As all the screws start to loosen over time, the very short screws that cover the pre drilled holes for adding accessories like the desk or lower bunk bed tend to fall out randomly. This is especially frustrating because we have toddlers hanging out in their older siblings’ rooms, finding these screws and putting them in their mouth. I do wish there was an option to plug them with something more permanent. As much we’ve had to modify and improve on these beds, we’re still really happy with our purchase. We feel confident that with continued maintenance and care, these beds will last decades, in particular due to their quality material and overall sound construction. If you’re on the fence, I’d say wait for a sale, but go for it.

I had to bring out my drill and manipulate the holes for the screws to line up. After that minor setback, the bed was complete and enjoyed by my boys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered 2 for our 9 and 11 year old girls. Put both up in around 3 and 1/2 hours total. Good condition, no parts missing, looks like picture. They've only slept in them a few nights but so far we are very pleased. Especially with the space underneath!

Beautiful product love it! We got 2 of those so both my kiddos have a desk area. Really nice quality and easy to assemble!

I bought this for my 8 year old autistic son who still needs me to lay down with him once in a while. I bought it because the weight limit would be more than enough to hold the 2 of us. I also have 2 sides of this up against the wall for extra support. It is not safe. Let me just say that like the previous review said, the screws loosen up very quickly and even tightened it needs an extra support lengthwise on the bottom. I had 2, 50 point kids up there and when they came down they both came down on the far side of the bed at the same time and had I not been standing there to catch it- the whole thing would have fallen down. PLEASE go spend your money on something else. This is NOT safe. ..

Amazing loft beds! I bought them for my boy's room and they were easy to put together. They have given their room so much more room. We love them.

It's a great bed and relatively easy to assemble but a standard twin mattress doesn't fit. The bed is an inch or two short and you have to wedge the mattress in.

My daughter has a hammock hanging underneath and both the bed and the additional space have brought her much joy. She has a small bedroom, so the built in ladder on the foot rails is an additional space saver. I looked at loft beds for months, but kept returning to this model. Though it may be a bit pricier than other loft beds, the wide planks give this bed great stability, reaffirming my choice.

Got this bed for my 17yr old son who wanted more space in his room. He LOVES it!

My daughter loves it. The bed is well made and makes this mama way more comfortable having my 3 year old high above the ground. Was very easy to put together.

Great bed!! Very solid and can tell it was well made. Purchased for my 10 year old to have more space in his small room and be able to fit his gaming stuff underneath. Took about 5 hours to put together and took 2 people to put together. Only complaint, wish it came with 2 of the larger Allen wrenches. If you want a sturdy safe bed for your child this is the bed!!!!

Purchased for 13 yo son. Easy to put together and so far very sturdy. He's been sleeping on it for about a month and loves it! I love that it feels safe - even with me climbing on it and a super plus, no squeaking like you'd get with a metal frame.
