Only downside for me and the reason for 4 stars is the size of the different seasonings is bigger than usual. I'll bite into a steak and crunch on a piece and it makes the bite a little off. Still good just not preferable. I did recit as a free sample and I still recommend it even with the small downside

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning was awesome! It was the first time I'd used Montreal Seasoning on steak and it was fantastic. I've often spent time mixing my own dry rubs for steak. But the Montreal Seasoning had the same mix of spices and powders that I usually use, but also had a spicy kick that I'd not tried before on steak. I really enjoyed the spiciness and the flavor of onion and pepper. I would absolutely recommend the Montreal Steak Seasoning to anyone grilling a steak. It makes the dry rub so easy and so much less involved than trying to make your own rub. This was a real eye opener for me as I've always felt that pre-blended rubs were mostly inferior. But the McCormick's Montreal Seasoning was really great and I wlil be using it next time I grill.

If given the option, I'd say to always go for the Low Sodium products. You get just as much flavor and can feel better about it!

I have never tried McCormick Grill Mates 25% Less sodium Montreal Steak Seasoning, But it's amazing product i don't eat Meat but i did try this product in Paneer and Fajita to grill and it tasted amazing. Personally I do not use much salt in my cooking and thought this would be a good compromise. While I still appreciated the other spices I still found low sodium steak seasoning to be too salty for my taste.
