A: The target support staff said they are stackable, but to be clear (since they weren’t) they do not stack without purchasing the lids separately. They do not stack without the lid.

A: They are not stackable. There is nothing to hold the top basket from sliding completely inside of the bottom one. You would need a lid for them to stack. Otherwise they just nest inside one another.

I purchased two—one was perfectly fine, while the other had black scrape marks on it that cannot be rubbed off and the tag was already off that one as well. Seemed like it may have already been used/returned. I didn’t appreciate that someone working at Target wouldn’t have recognized this and decided not to resell. Now I’ll be returning it but it’s inconvenient.

I love this storage system so much. I use it to corral my kids schoolbooks, to organize toys, to organize my pantry… so many possibilities. Skip these unless you need bins that store nicely when empty.
These are not worth the higher price point in comparison to other similar bins. The small size will not stack on the medium (while using the separately purchased lids) and still fit in the cube system. It’s very close - but just slightly too tall which seems REALLY silly. Between them being just a little more expensive than other bins (not noticeably better in quality either) and selling lids separately they’re just not worth it.
