A must have for kids. Endless fun building and smashing towers. Kind of a hassle to assemble the bricks, but it can go faster once you get the hang of it. Still worth it.

Limitless Play When Paired With Imagination

I purchased these blocks about 10 years ago, when my kids were toddlers. They are now 15 and 12 years old and these blocks are still around. Over the years, they used them in countless ways, including as towers for lego guys, a play area for a pet hamster, forts for indoor snowball fights, and as doll beds. I was always amazed at how my kids would integrate them in with other toys. These blocks fostered so much true childhood "play." My kids would likely agree that these blocks were one of their favorite toys. ** Note that my kids never walked on these blocks. My quality rating is based off of how they used them.

The blocks are cute but they are only cardboard and $19.99 is overpriced but I needed them for a project.

Build a Wall, Knock it Down, Repeat as Desired

Blocks were for grandchildren and were an instant hit. One of the few toys they use consistently. Only critique is that there are too few of the larger red and blue blocks. This set was actually purchased to supplement a 40 piece set purchased at Christmas, since the red and blue cannot be purchased separately. We put the bigger blocks together and left the yellow ones languishing in the box doomed to be forever flat.

My kids are 11, 6, 5, and 2 (3 oldest are boys and youngest is a girl). We have had these for 3 years, replacing some blocks occasionally. They LOVE them! They are perfect for all ages if you want to encourage their imagination. An excellent gift for grandkids (we got them from their grandparents and uncle).

My husband and I bought the blocks as a first birthday gift for our twin granddaughters. We don't see them use the blocks on a daily basis, but as reported by their parents, the girls have enjoyed both building with the blocks and knocking them down. On one occasion one twin was clever enough to build a stairway with the blocks so she could access an "off limits" area. A toy that truly sparks imagination. We're glad that these blocks are still around.

I purchases these blocks for my 18 month grandson. He really enjoys them! He is always stacking items and i thought this would be a good fit. I'm very happy I got them because he plays with them a lot! They are basically cardboard boxes that are easy to put together and are very sturdy. He can sit on the blocks with no problem. I did research and Melissa and Doug blocks sounded the best and this site had the best deal I was not disappointed!
