The good: they're solid boots at a fair price for what they are. I'm a forest farmer and they keep me upright on the steep slopes, excellent tread, I feel confident moving heavy logs, they stay waterproof IF YOU TAKE CARE OF THEM, and they're attractive. Not too heavy but good support and warm if you have remotely decent socks, not too sweaty on warm days as long as you're in the shade. I wear mine in the mud, through the creek, whatever and my feet stay dry and comfortable. The bad: 1) The interior isn't very well made and starts to fall apart fast with hard use. Not so much that it affects comfort but they're already shabby inside after two months of daily wear. 2) The leather is high maintenence and I definitely see toe armor in these boots' future--they're already a bit dinged up. My land partner got her pair about a month before mine due to a sizing issue on my end, didn't oil hers in that time, and they dramatically lighter in color and began to crack. Now I treat both of ours weekly with a waterproofing natural oil leather conditioner and they're holding up well, the damage to hers has stopped progressing and they're still in good shape with constant use minus the dings. Bottom line: if you work in the woods and this is what you can afford (like us), go for it, it will probably make your life better than trying to keep trucking on in total crap walmart boots. But keep on top of them and expect to spend twenty minutes a week cleaning them up and greasing them down. Otherwise go for something higher end.

Ive had this pair of boots for about 6 months now and for some reason the stitching has come apart above the counter lock pad on the back of the right boot. I'm not sure how this happened due to I wear jeans and coveralls so they are covered well. I've always worn georgia boots and so this is a first for me.

Bought a pair in mid-summer of 2022 for work and now late winter of 2023 and the soles are worn out on the balls of both feet. I wouldn't have expected to have worn so badly so soon. Never had a problem with them leaking. They do overly stretch and are wider now than when they were new (they run wider than normal). On the plus side, they do look good and were comfortable right out of the box.

Don't get the low heel

The low heel boots are made the same, but not as comfortable to wear as the traditional. The flat footedness is very uncomfortable in rough terrain. The laces are not long enough, but I will replace those anyway. They hurt my everything. After wearing the other style heel for ten years, it was a big mistake.

Great boots good fit and comfortable right out of the box. I am on my feet on a hard concrete floor 8- 10 hours a day. I’m glad I didn’t even have to break them in. I wore original Georgia boots years ago as we had a local dealer but it’s been probably 15 years I am glad I came back.

I bought these boots awhile ago (not sure exactly when but somewhere about a year ago) and I noticed the stitching is not coming apart. Such a shame because these boots are very comfortable. I ware them daily but don’t work as I’m retired. I think this would have happened pretty fast if I used them as work boots.

We bought a pair of these for my husband around November of 2020. We ended up taking them back 2 weeks later because they started taking on water. We exchanged them for another pair as they were still under warranty. We were told they probably wouldn't honor another warranty exchange because of "undo wear and tear"! Ummm they are WORK boots right? The new pair started taking on water within a month and became uncomfortable so we bought inserts. My husband is a insulator and works in heavy construction areas if this is the quality he can expect from this company Georgia boots will never be purchased again.

I bought these on a whim since I needed new boots fast. They felt pretty broken in. It was amazing. Comfort from day 1. I work outside all year. Long hours, any conditions and heavy work. They stood up to the torment. I’ve seen other reviews about the heel seam ripping or not being water proof. Well I don’t see how the seam could rip after having worn these boots for a year and as for water proofing I never had a problem however I did treat them ahead of time but my feet were always dry. Since I bought them I’ve also bought other Georgia boots and have not been disappointed. I plan on continuing to purchase Georgia boots until I can’t wear boots anymore or until they start making slippers and sneakers. Thanks for a great product.

I bought these boots about 2 months ago. Have bearly wore them for work. And the back seam rips right apart while walking. Terrible craftsmanship. I was happy with my purchase of the boots. Till they ripped apart.

Not great in wet conditions

I bought a pair around April of this past year. Loved them at first very comfortable from day one im on my feet and I work outdoors all year long. I spent money hoping to get a good set of boots to last me a few years. Less than 2 months later my feet were getting soaking wet from walking in the early morning dew on the grass and I had wet feet for the rest of the day. I returned them and revived another new pair. Again I loved them comfortable from the first day. soon after they too were getting soaked through by walking in wet grass. A little mud or rain and wet feet.. I used different products to treat the leather but still did nothing within a day had wet feet again. So if you work in wet conditions this it a terrible boot. If you will remain dry they would be wonderful. For those wondering they are warm boots my feet were hot all day and they are a bit heavy but that isn’t a big deal for me.
