The Apex Pro by Muck Boots is built for high endurance cool and cold weather pursuits or treks that require the performance of an agile boot, but with excellent traction. Reaching 15-inches in height, this pull-on boot is completely waterproof with strategically placed rubber overlays that provide additional protection along the shin and forefoot without adding unnecessary weight. The interior is fully lined with a 4mm CR Flex Foam Neoprene, this boot will keep you warm. A breathable mesh lining facilitates air circulation. A dual density footbed treated BioDEWIX™ antimicrobial and having a topcover with NZYM™ mitigates odor and supplies moisture management. Underfoot a Vibram Arctic Grip All-Terrain outsole with Vibram XS Trek Evo compound and New Traction Lug Technology provides superior grip no matter the season and advanced traction on all terrain, including, but not limited to wet ice, snow, mixed/loose surfaces and hard pack. I've had great luck with all your products in past purchases. These boots seem outstanding especially getting them at the sale price. I got to try them out on an Eastern Shore Maryland duck hunt right after receiving them. Unusual snowy icy conditions but preformed awesomely! Love Muck products!

I have always worn Mucks and they did a fair job of keeping my feet warm in very cold conditions. That being said, these Artic boots far surpass any others. After being out snow plowing, my feet don't have hardly any snow collected on them because there is very little heat loss.

Boot in general has excellent construction. I very much like the placement of the rubber when compared to the Arctic versions. Much improved ankle flex and movement comfort. The colors are much better in real life as well. Nice and warm as well. It's as grippy as you can expect a non studded boot to be. As other reviews say, it does run small. Seems it's smaller vertically than horizontally. High arches/tall feet may not fit great. I do agree with another previous review about the heel not staying in place. I cannot go any smaller length wise, yet my heel moves around a significant amount. I'd probably buy it again all things considered.

Weird fit. My usual is the Wetlands or Chore. Wetlands fits perfect, Chore is a little clunky. The Apex Pro is not typical Muck. LOW instep, narrow forefoot, average heel width. Length true to size, but other dimensions might make it seem small.

I bought these during the Muck-tober sale. Out of the box, the fit felt fine and the boot was comfortable. I finally wore them outside now that we have snow and I have abrasions on both my shins because the boot is so incredibly stiff. I walked less than a mile - and wince thinking about wearing these anymore. Sadly, I’m beyond the 30 day window to return them. These are my first pair of Muck Boots and will be my last given how awkward the design is to be so rigid.

I bought these boots since I work in the CO Mtns and needed a pair of WP boots that would work well in the Mtns. Very comfortable but when I walk in snow, w air temp of 40 degrees my feet get cold w/in 5mins. Real comfort ratings should be 30-50 degrees. Nothing less. I am literally buying more boots 800G insulated boots as we speak.

This was my 4th pair of much boots. The Apex runs small in both the foot and calf. Also the arch support is off and my feet are small. Although they are less bulky and seem to retain heat well.

Purchased these about a month ago, right before hunting season, so I had a good pair of insulated boots for the fall/winter season. Wore them hunting three weeks straight now and have hit below freezing temps and haven’t had cold feet yet.

These are made differently than the heavier artic pro. The soles are attached in a way that they wont detach if used to walk in. However they are flimsy and lack foot support. If used for walking on uneven or rocky terrain, you may turn an ankle. The light weight is good if spending all day in them

I've been a long time arctic pro guy and had a couple other models. Just bought these Apex to use as more of a winter hunting boot. They are marketed as "Athletic" but the heel moves around more than any boot I've ever had. They're probably unwearable. Just walked around for 5 minutes and it feels like I'm gonna get a blister.....and I never get blisters. Wish I could return it, these things suck. I see why they are ALWAYS on sale. Don't be fooled by the Vibram sole, these things are bad.

I have bought many pairs of muck boots over the past couple of years and they have always been good but this pair At first seemed to be really good well made boots but after wearing them the right boot started to leak and they both felt very thin not very satisfied with these boots

I’ve now owned my muck boots for a few weeks. I’ve gotten a chance to wear them and break them in. I ordered a size 13 which is my normal foot size. The boots run a little too big! I’m concerned my feet will blister and they won’t be comfortable for long hunting durations
