  • A: it has no heavy cover or paper album sleeve , it comes in a plastic sleeve only , looks cool but fragile without something heavier to store it in , just store carefully in between other heavier albums

Low low audio quality

Does the job if you just want to hear the album but they fit whole album on one disc by reducing the audio quality. They squeezed 5 songs on each side. You might as well stream the album from youtube

Playback is fine - terrible packaging

I don’t have the skipping issue others have described, but the album doesn’t even come with a proper sleeve - only a thick plastic PVC sleeve. The PVC will absolutely ruin the record over time as it leeches chemicals onto the vinyl.

Disappointed

It skips badly. Every song skips.. I exchanged it for another which skips even worse. It's unbearable to listen to. It was on sale when I exchanged it so at least I got a partial credit. I wss leary when I saw how it was packaged. I have the original which is warped a bit and sounds better.

People! First step in caring for your Vinyl Records is you need a record cleaning brush! All new records have manufacturing dust inside the grooves so you need to clean them before you play them! That could very well be why so many of you are experiencing skips!

two different pics on both sides , nice surprise

So far my album plays just fine , it had two very tiny skips and one was at the very start otherwise it's ok .. I was surprised the other side of the album has the coolest thriller picture in addition to side one pictured online . This is a picture vinyl that plays music and even though it does not come in a heavy holder with a paper sleeve ,( it only comes in a plastic sleeve) it looks pretty cool in there and makes it unique. It's nice to see Michael looking so good before the plastic surgeons altered him . Its a better way to remember someone that gave us such a great amount of music forever . Love PYT , great memories of dancing to it in the clubs when disco reigned .

Skips horribly!

I was thrilled to see this in the store. I bought another vinyl in the plastic packaging (Prince - Purple Rain) and figured the quality of the Michael Jackson vinyl would be or same quality. But, as soon as I put this vinyl on my turntable, it immediately began skipping. I cleaned the record and it continued to skip. I assume it is warped from the way the stylus on my turn table was bobbing up and down. I will be returning this tomorrow.
