Awesome leash!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 30' check cord fits my needs perfectly. Lightweight for tie-out (no fenced in yard) and also quickly untie for a walk to the mailbox or our hikes in the woods. I LOVE doing business with this company!

light weight and highly visible
light, love the 30' length, and durability. Walk her in long green space, formerly golf course, now wild. She feels free but still stays in range. Daily walks for almost a month and no visible wear. Highly recommend.

Great for training
This is great for practicing recall or for using in the yard allowing the dog for a little space but still allowing you as the owner the ability to grab if they start to take off.

It's a rope, it's bright, and it floats
This is a great rope. Used it on my 85lb Chocolate lab at the lake to ensure he didn't swim out too far. The rope floats on the water and is lightweight. Also used to simulate off-lease walks and check to re-call. Word of caution: It is a thin but strong rope and if your dog is a puller it will be easy to get rope burns.

Lightweight and durable
Just starting to work on the come command with my dog, so this is working out great so far! It is lightweight, yet durable. Holds up to my girl trying to chew on it , or goes around bushes, trees, etc; ( yes, we still have some issues, but are working on them). Have loved every product purchased from Might Paws! Canâ€:tm:t wait for warmer weather so we can try it out in the lake.

Seems really strong
A strong check cord with good visibility, We don't have a lot of purpose for it until summer, but should be handy then.

Good dog training leash for German Shepherd
I really like this long lunge line dog leash. I use it for off leash dog traing. It gives me a confident feeling that I can gain control if my dog decides to start running away. Also it won't cut your hand or fingers if you grab it while your dog is running as the leash is made of soft rope. I highly recommend it.

Great recall training tool
This check cord is great for recall training purposes! I just clip it to my pupâ€:tm:s collar and hold the far end of the cord in my hand. Paired with high value treats this is an amazing training tool!

It is what it is...a check cord.
Overall solid product for what it is, a check cord. This is not a leash. It is not intended to have a handle on end. I see many complaints / questions and lower reviews because it doesnâ€:tm:t have a handle. I have not had it long so Iâ€:tm:m still evaluating the durability, but so far good product.

Bright Colored and Hefty Long Leash
I loved the bright color and light weight but hefty feel to the leash. Due to the snow in our area, I have not been able to field test the leash so I only was able to give it 4 stars.

Best Check Cord for dog training
I love this Check Cord! This is replacing my old heavy wide recall lead that easily tangles. I have a puppy in training and this is my new favorite recall tool! I love thats itâ€:tm:s so light weight and easy to see with flecks of reflective material throughout. 30ft is a perfect length for recall training. I use it teach “come when calledâ€, “potty training“ (do your business and come back inside right away), and “leave itâ€ - all using this one versatile cord. This would also be great for those dogs that play “catch me if you canâ€

Long and light weight
This is an excellent light weight leash for tracking or distance obedience. The leash is thin and doesn't snag on anything, it's also easy to see on the ground. I absolutely love this leash because it does not have a handle which means I can tie it around poles, I can make my own handle or use as is without worrying if the handle will catch on something. I highly recommend this long leash!

Lightweight but strong - loving it
What I like is how lightweight this is yet it is strong and well made. Makes it so easy to carry when not using and not so heavy for my dog to drag when he is using it. He is a young herding dog with a mind of his own at times but only weighs 32# so this is perfect his training. Swimming should be fun with this lead when he decides to herd the lake ducks. Can’t wait to try it.

Nice quality training LEAD
First let me say, this is a LEAD, I would hesitate to call it a LEASH - as there is no handle for the user. There is a clip to attach to dog collar and the rest is just a nice quality rope lead. Meant to drag behind dog and be grabbed if needed. This will work great if you have a nice area to work on recall and off leash walking, but you would need to tie a slip knot or something if you want a "hoop" for a handle.

Great for training. Strong and Durable.
I love this check cord! It is well made, strong, durable and lightweight. I love that it doesn't tangle - ever. It is easy to tie and untie to anything, a post, a tree or me. My girl is in her last month of Bio-Detection training and we use it every class. It works great in water, reflects and dries quickly. I also like the flexibility of it's uses. I can use it for a long lead during class then tie it short to a patio table while we have lunch. It is very well made and versatile.

Effective handling, less stress
Being able to maintain control of a young dog while training creates significantly less stress for both the dog and the handler. Avoiding the whole running away chasing cycle and then there was yelling is exactly how this check cord benefits dog and person. The bright color, the exceptional quality, and the lightweight nature of this product make it another winner in the growing Mighty Paw family.

A great upgrade for us
I'm really loving this check cord. It's an excellent upgrade from our raggedy poly cord. This one stays nice and neat making it easy to coil and uncoil. It doesn't tend to snag due to the lack of a handle at the end. This is a good thing! When you need a handle, you can quickly make one with an overhand loop (knot). I prefer to use a cow hitch style knot that I clip my Mighty Paw traffic lead onto. Then, when I want to let my dog run, all I need to do is unclip the traffic lead and the check cord runs freely with no knots or snags. The reflective qualities are a plus for nighttime play sessions. I haven't tested the floating capabilities much but the end did fall into a bucket and floated. This material definitely absorbs more water than a poly cord does. Keep this in mind when considering which to use for wet activities. This one will likely need to air dry before packing away.

Rope with latch. +1
This is what it is. Woven “climbing rope. The latch-hook on the one end is well affixed. Works well for my purposes of training a new pupper. Know that there is no hold on the opposite end for a “leash style item. Just tie a bowline with an extra hitch to fit around the wrist or to create a slip for the lead if you need to anchor it to anything. Seems fine- of normal standards- but color fades quickly in direct sunlight. Might be a little pricey for what it is. But that latch is why you would buy it anyways... would recommend as a training lead.
