Mindful Discovery - by Don Kuhl (Hardcover)

Book Synopsis

From Don Kuhl, founder of The Change Companies(R), Interactive Journaling(R), and CONNECTIONS Central, comes a timeless collection of honest reflections that reminds readers recovery is not a destination, but a daily practice of courage, humility, hope, and personal growth.

Written in the raw honesty of early recovery and rediscovered more than four decades later, Mindful Discovery: Honest Reflections Beyond Substance Use offers a powerful window into one man's journey from addiction to lasting sobriety. After a longtime friend returned a well-worn copy that had guided him through treatment 25 years earlier, Don Kuhl found himself revisiting the words he had written as a frightened young man beginning his own recovery. The result is a deeply authentic collection of short, thought-provoking reflections on honesty, denial, fear, surrender, relationships, gratitude, faith, hope, and the everyday challenges of living alcohol-free. Whether someone is newly sober, supporting a loved one, or seeking personal growth beyond addiction, these timeless messages, paired with striking color photographs, provide practical wisdom, encouragement, and reassurance that meaningful change is possible--one honest day at a time.
