Q: This table has a walnut finish, but looks reddish to me and maybe a little darker than walnut which is usually medium brown. Anyone care to comment on the color?

A: Color can vary wildly from one monitor to another, so internet images should be taken with a grain of salt. The best course of action if you are concerned about the specific hue would be to order a 5$ sample from us.

I recently bought 3 AFI Mission tables of different types from target.com. The one I'm reviewing came with a top that wasn't finished on one edge--it was rough and whitish. I tried to call and chat with AFI Support, but my voice mail wasn't returned and chat wasn't available. So I sent them an email. I got a response two days later that the top would be shipped FedEx. The FedEx label was created that same day, but now 11 days later that's still the FedEx status. I emailed AFI Support again four days ago, and all they did was confirm that the status was "Label Created". Another issue with all 3 tables I purchased is that the directions aren't clear that you need to pre-drill holes for the screws that go into the legs--using only a screwdriver isn't very effective. Also, the rubber tree wood used for the tables isn't kind to drill bits--I ruined two of my bits trying to drill pilot holes (yes, these are quality bits that have worked fine for other applications). Apart from those issues, the two tables I was able to assemble are sturdy and look good, and the price was reasonable. But I can't recommend the product due to the issues I experienced.
