Q: Does the drawer already have pre-drilled holes for the handle screws, or is the front completely flat? I’d like to replace the handles with different ones, so I want to make sure the drawers are suitable for that.

DO NOT BUY

I usually am a fan of Room Essentials but this drawer is terrible. If I could give a 0 star I would. Should’ve read the reviews before I wasted money. First off, the instructions are confusing. It took me almost 6 hours to try to put this together before I gave up. Anytime I tried to move it it would fall apart nothing held together and it was not sturdy!! I gave up after spending 3 hours trying to put the drawers in. They did not fit and kept falling apart everytime I would put them in!! Waste of money do not buy!!

Heavy quality!

FYI This is HEAVY. It wasn’t very hard as assemble, I was able to do it myself in about an hour and a half (I took a snack break lol). The black scratches easily, which was pretty disappointing. Lining the shelves up perfectly about did me in. That alone took many tries, but I was able to get them aligned. The drawers are really nice in the inside and will hold more than I originally thought. Overall this is a nice nightstand/ small dresser.

Unsure about the product

Unfortunately this dresser was damaged in shipment, visible before opening and assembling. I have been waiting for instructions as to how to proceed with assembling a damaged product or have it be replaced. I received notice that a Ticket has been opened, I provided the requested information, and was advised to wait until I hear from the Fulfillment Team. I have received no replies from Fulfillment and my time is running out. Thus this is the only review I can provide.

Classy

This is a perfect set of drawers for my closet! It fits under most of my hanging shirts. I used to have a plastic set of drawers and this is so much classier and sleek looking. I’m a big fan of it! There was assembly, but one person can put it together.

Very easy to put together

I was able to make put the dresser together in 3 hours. I was able to do it alone without any help. It was very easy to assemble. The directions were super easy to follow. The only issue i had was when they delivered it they broke the top off the corner. Other than that this is a great sturdy dresser. The design is very simple and elegant perfect for my teen daughter‘s room.

Dresser Modern Black with 3 drawers

This modern furniture set is a drawer with 3 shelves. The step by step instructions are included and it is recommended for 2 people to assemble. I choose to keep this setup in my bedroom for clothing storage. The furniture is sturdy and the shelves stay put and glide well.

Read Before You Buy

Don’t listen to the reviews that tell you to ignore the bad reviews. That’s what I did and I regret it! This is a piece of junk. It is possible that some of the dressers people purchase turn out fine, but I think it is hit or miss with this one. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand, the problem is the fit. First, the back two pieces are too thick and heavy for the rest of the dresser. At first I thought this was a plus, but I quickly realized that it made the dresser back heavy. Because these pieces are put together with just Cam Locks, this makes the dresser very vulnerable and flimsy. Secondly, for me, these pieces didn’t even fit together. So it made the problem even worse. I took it apart to see if I made a mistake, but no, it was just wonky and broken. Also, when I went to take it apart to check for mistakes, the back heavy pieces fell forward and ripped right out out the thinner, less dense particle board and now I have rips and tears in a brand new dress. Not that it matters because I won’t be able to move it from my living room without it falling apart anyway. Very disappointed. Buyer beware!

Modern dresser

Great small dresser. Comes in a lot of pieces. But only took us about 45 minutes to get it together so overall not terrible. Its very functional looks great and is really sturdy. I love it!

Assembled this dresser per instructions and the drawer does not fit. It’s about 1/8” too high. Just wasted $135 of my dollars, don’t waste yours just go to ikea.

Fell apart

Purchased this and assembled it (took about an hour). Tested the drawers and they worked fine. Jiggled the unit a bit and it was very sturdy. Went to move the unit and it completely fell apart. As someone who had put together countless flat pack items trust me when I tell you it was assembled correctly. I would not purchase this again and hope I can return it.

Such great quality!

I was really shocked at the quality of this dresser. It exceeded my expectations exponentially! The instructions were very clear, so putting it together was very easy. The drawers are a lot deeper than I was expecting. I love the sleek, modern design of the dresser and the drawer pulls. It's very sturdy, so I trust that it wouldn't tip over, but it does come with a strap to mount it to the wall as a precaution. This is perfect as a children's dresser or oversized nightstand. This isn't junk furniture by any means!

AVOID IF YOU CAN!!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CAN!!! I wanted budget furniture so I do understand the appeal - I got three of the white ones. The first two barely stay together, one of them is damaged simply just from literally putting it together. The third one didn't have the correct pieces nor did it have the correct SIZES of pieces. It literally fell apart before I could put it together fully - which I wouldn't have been able to do anyway being that two of the "wood" slabs meant to be the side pieces are different sizes. It RIPPED in half multiple times and is unuasble. I got them because I was on a budget and needed storage - it was more a waste of my money and time than just investing in even *slightly* better furniture or shopping somewhere else wouldn't been. If you can avoid these, please do for the sake of your pockets. Don't ignore the negative comments. I'm sure some people have had good experiences but those don't seem to be the reliable reviews overall. Tread lightly.

Very wobbly and falls apart if moved.

It only hooks on the top and bottom. It is very wobbly and falls apart if you try to move it. Trying to return it now. Since I had to cut it out of the box, very heavy, I am on hold to see if they will take it back.

Looks great but not solid wood and a pain to assemble

The dresser looks sleek, clean and modern but there are issues with product quality and how complicated it is to assemble. The piece isn't solid woof, and the fasteners don't seem especially sturdy, so I worry about the dresser standing up long term. Assembly is very complex and tefious; it took two of us most of an entire afternoon. One nice touch: the instructions for making sure the drawers slide smoothly were easy to follow and a welcome aid.

Terrible dresser. DO NOT BUY PLEASE!

DO NOT buy this dresser it will not stay together the front of the draws literally fall off right away. Other than that everything sucks about it too. It doesn’t fit together good at all. Do not listen to any of the good reviews it is a peice of junk and NOT worth 125$ such a waste of time and money. Fully assembled and it doesn’t even stay together. I don’t think I built it wrong there are no left over pieces and I looked through the instructions multiple times. Very disappointed.

Perfect for the kids room.

I love how easy this was to build. The hardware is all included, and the design makes this dresser perfect for a kids' room. The capacity is perfect and allows for a lot of clothes per drawer. It's very low maintenance and very stylish.

Roomy heavy duty dresser

Once this Room Essentials dresser is assembled, it looks nice & holds a lot. The outer finish & dresser drawer linings have a smooth texture. The package comes with a lot of pieces to assemble. The body of it, each drawer, handles, etc. come in separate pieces. The back comes in two pieces, not one. It took about an hour & a half, but was fairly easy. I recommend assembling in the room it's going because it is very heavy. The long handles are nice & have a groove on the bottom to grab with both hands, which is helpful especially if the drawer is full. The baseboard in the front sticks out a little, but isn't in the way. I like that it can fit bulky items. I'd recommend it.

Don’t Let the Negative Reviews Scare You

I had zero issues putting this dresser together. The instructions were easy to follow, and all the pieces fit exactly as they should. One drawer needed minor adjusting, but the manual explains how to do that step‑by‑step. Now that it’s assembled, it’s sturdy, stable, and looks fantastic in my space. For the price, you really can’t beat it. Highly recommend

Great size and shape to fit anywhere

Pleasantly surprised by this three drawer dresser. I thought it was going to be on the small side but it truly is a really nice big size. Drawers are wide and deep. Perfect square shape to fit just about anywhere. It was easy enough to put together with just one person and directions were nice and clear.
