Just ordered and installed 2 fans on our lanai yesterday. Can't say enough about them...blew away our previous ones. Sleek design, well made, powerful with 5 speeds and dimming light feature. Remote controls easy to operate and can be wall mounted. They will not disappoint!

Not convinced of "wet" rating
Was rated as "wet" but the electrical housing did mot appear to be built to withstand weather. We built our own top to keep water out.

Friendly when you walk into the store. Sales people very knowledgeable about their products. Good quality and pricing!
Very helpful in helping me what manufacture they recommend for my house. Loved the fans and light fixtures for my remodel. Had (1) fan motor that was bad and the rushed me a new fan assembly at no charge!! I will always shop at Lamp Plus.

Receiver Defective
Having a similar issue with the ceiling fan as experienced by a previous reviewer. The receiver is defective. Contacted customer service at Modern Forms and hopefully will receive a replacement receiver.

Not a long term fan, electronics burn out.
Not happy at all. The electronic receiver on both fans stopped working (The Remote cannot control the fan). The first one stopped working in the first months and lamps plus replaced. The second stopped working two days ago and is right outside of the 1 year warranty. I am still going to call but I am not hopeful.

I absolutely love this fan! Installation could be a little challenging for those who are not familiar with electrical wiring, but as long as you take your time and read the instructions thoroughly you’ll be successful. Once installed, operation was very simple and the fan runs extremely quiet, I was very impressed. I would definitely recommend this fan.

We now replaced 3 fans with modern forms fans and I will say the ambient temp in our great room is now even in all corners. Unlike the old fans…..they were horrible!

Do not buy.
Had nothing but problems. They replaced receiver three times and wall switch twice. I can now program this thing with my eyes closed. It's a software problem. "Alex, turn fan to speed 2" turns on the light. "Alexa, turn light to level 3" sometimes turns on the fan. Sometimes the wall switch doesn't work. I will never buy another Modern Forms product again. $400+ for fan and $200 to install and it's less than worthless. I can send videos to company if they want them but I'm not loading them onto youtube for fear of harassment.

Bigger Is Better
We just bought this fan for an outdoor patio. It is a very nice fan, but we got the 52" model and the movement of air on our patio is not what I was hoping for. This fan also comes in a 60", which is what I wish we had bought. I guess the lesson is by a bigger fan than you think you will need. If it too much for your space, you can always turn the speed down.
