I like the lamp, it looks nice and works well. Delivery was fast, I got it the next day after ordering. But there was no bulb included, so the description isn’t completely accurate. For this price, I expected everything to be in the box. Also, the extra cord is not very convenient — you can only tuck it under the base, but it doesn’t really stay fixed, so when moving the lamp it can easily come out.

Nice lamp, modern look, doesn't take up too much space on floor, and has a three-way switch.

This is the perfect addition to our living room! It’s so simply but modern. The height is just perfect!

Returned this - the shade was more beige which affected the color of the light, regardless of the bulb used. Not what I was looking for.

Love this lamp. Shade is textured white with a slim design. It's great for a tighter corner but still full size. Shade rests easily above the top of our couch and casts a rich glow. Base is sleek too but we'll weighted- we have pets and ours has never tipped. Overall I'm happy with the design - feels well made but not bulky.

So easy to assemble and I didn’t even need directions. Confused by some of the negative reviews. The base does connect with the bottom pole. It DOES screw in. You just have tighten it with the nut underneath. If the top finial screw is crooked, you can totally straighten it with a wrench. Ultimately I returned because I liked it a lot but didn’t have a great space for it. (Pictured is when I tried it on with another lamp shade.)

Very nice lamp, would highly recommend

Second time I have ordered this lamp and something has been wrong. For the price of this lamp this shouldn’t be an issue. Lampshade was dented the first time and this time there shade doesn’t sit level since the harp holder and stud is not level. Otherwise the lamp itself is nice.

This lamp is a great addition to a dark corner. It came boxed and was simple to put together

This shipped defective and customer service was not helpful. The bars/shaft with the electric line through wasn’t in the right direction so it was impossible to screw together. Don’t buy

This is an amazing lamp. I need service because the top ball screw doesn't work. I can't find a way to contact Target about it to get a new piece sent. With a screw that works, the lamp will tighten and be great. Right now, it's wobbly and crooked.

Easy to assemble and looks great!

I was a little surprised when I received this lamp and opened the Target box to find it all in pieces, with just some bubble wrap and no directions. It was easy to figure out how to assemble it and it only took me a few minutes. They even provided a little wrench to help with the assembly. The lamp is pretty sturdy and of good quality. I love the modern look. My only complaint is that due to the poor packaging, my lamp shade has a slight indentation in it.

I needed a new tall lamp to replace an old dated not at all trendy lamp in my family room. This lamp is trendy and stylish at a budget price. It was easy to put together and took me less than 5 minutes.

I absolutely love this Modern Ring Floor Lamp by Threshold. My living room tends to get really dark and I have needed a lamp that provides more light then what I currently have. I’m extremely happy with this lamp. It has been exactly what I have been looking for and needed. What I like about this lamp is the shape of the shade which fits in well with my current decor. The silver makes this lamp stand out and gives it a stylish look. Set up only took a few minutes and was very simple. The light that admits throughout my living room makes the room much brighter and more inviting. I would highly recommend this lamp as a must buy.

I like the design of this lamp. The oval shape allows it to fit into tight spaces. I like the way the oval shade shapes the light. It reminds me of a wall sconce and feels very elegant. The shade cloth has a fine texture with a linen-like texture that looks updated. Overall, I think it looks classy and modern. Assembly was fairly straight forward and took only a matter of minutes. No instructions were in the box so I puzzled it out with guidance from previous lamp experiences. I later found instructions in a video on the product web page. But there was nothing in the box to direct me there, so I had proceeded without. I later reviewed the assembly video and it looked like a typical instruction booklet had been made into a video. I was disappointed that there doesn't seem to be any way to pause the video on crucial images, like when they're showing diagrams of how all the parts go together. There were a couple of things about assembly that I found odd. For one thing, when you have assembled all of the pieces of the vertical pole and tightened it from under the base with the included wrench tool the assembly can still be turned. It does not securely lock into place. So if you were to bump the lamp near the ring the top might turn a little. Also, the bracket that receives the harp did not appear to be shaped quite the same on the left and right sides. On one side the groove looked to be formed a bit tighter so one side of the harp didn't sit in as far and was held at more of an angle than the other side. As a result the shade didn't sit level. I was able to use a level across the top and adjust the harp sides until the top was level enough that the shade sat okay but I've never needed a level to assemble a lamp before. My biggest disappointment was the way the product was packaged. All the parts were loose in the box with some air bubbles around them. As a consequence, it arrived with some small scratches, a small dent on the base, and a smooshed shade. And while I could push the shade back into shape, you can still see some of the places where it was folded as dark spots on the shade that detract from the sleek modern look. I feel like someone made a lovely design but the execution wasn't completely thought out. And then it was packed poorly which led to some additional flaws. It has so much potential but I would be reluctant to recommend it for fear that someone else would have the same disappointing experience that I did.
