However, it may be difficult to find a lampshade that matches the proportions and design of this lamp. Therefore, I do not recommend swapping the shade on this product. I hope this helps. - Shilpa

Q: The instruction manual says to have the power button facing forward and shows a pic of the lamp that way. But on the Target website for this lamp you the button is clearly facing the rear (completely opposite of the instructions). Which is it?

Q: We’ve bought two of these lamps and the arc’d poles don’t seem to arc enough and the lamp socket is left slanted upward. Can we manually bend the poles slightly to fix this issue?

Q: I am missing 4/6 of the set screws. There was only one bag with the Alan wrench and two set screws (I also have the larger double sided wrench). Is there supposed to be a second bag?

Should have known better. The lamp pole sections aren’t even the same color!!!! One is a dull brass and the other a shiny gold. For $150.00???? I don’t think so! Going right back to the store.

This lamp sucks! It’s so pretty but a nightmare to assemble. Will be returning tomorrow. The cord is stuck in the center of the lamp and we can’t pull it through. This is so bogus for $120 yeah right! Super disappointed, this is why I don’t buy furniture or anything more than decor from target. Also the instructions are terrible and hard to follow.

Love the modern look without the hefty designer price. Heavy base and sturdy if you make sure to tighten the setscrews with the Allen key as instructed in the manual. The manual has illustration but doesn't tell you in writing to tighten them so if you missed tightening them, it'd be wobbly. I don't have an issue with the lampshade being tilted, I simply push it a little to level it. I wished the brass arc had a darker finish, but it's not the end of the world. I just have gold/brass curtain rods and prefer it to match.

Pretty but far too short to go over furniture without hitting your head on it. Most arc lamps are 70-90 inches. This is 64”.

Heavy base is great for our toddler so we aren't worried about her tipping it over. Easy, quick, assembly. We use a Wiz lightbulb which is really nice with the diffuser on the lamp to provide a nice soft reading light for our living room.

Love this lamp! Gives off a nice warm light. I use an Alexa enabled bulb to have various dimming options but I believe it dims on its own. The base lays flat, I didn’t have any trouble with the shade angle. Assembly was pretty straightforward. Maybe took 20 mins tops.

The threads on one piece came slanted so no matter how hard we tried to readjust it and straighten it, it stayed crooked and wouldn't tighten all the way. We were disappointed but still tried to assemble it. Unfortunately, the holes for the two little screws for connecting the 2 arched pieces were too small to even fit the screws despite patiently trying for half an hour with steady hands. Cute design hypothetically, but very disappointed that we couldn't even assemble the product fully. Will return and re-purchase an alternative on Amazon that I've bought before and had absolutely no issues with. If you're still going to buy this cheap product, pray your pieces aren't defective and be sure to read the instructions thoroughly as the order of pieces to assemble is unintuitive but unfortunately important. If not, try Amazon.

I hate seeing light bulbs because I have sensory issues. this lamp gives diffused light unlike more lamps that aren't a frosted globe. People are complaining about putting it together but you just need two people and some patience. read directions before you start
