These have worked about as well as I expected. Bass response could be better, but mounting was easy and the clarity of the audio is excellent. In theory, these can be mounted in a can, opening a bass port for better low-end response. I've seen other reviews suggest that doing that makes the speakers *too* heavy on the bass response, which I'd be wary of as well. But maybe one day I'll get curious and try that, even though the port cover appears to be glued on and so may be questionable as to whether the current iteration of the design is really intended to be used that way. For now though, these have been serving me very well. They aren't in a room where one would expect a "full range experience" anyway. They are in the kitchen, and they fill in the listening experience well enough to get a lot of enjoyment out of them.

So far so good! They were easy to install. I haven't had much chance to fine tune the settings, but from what I've heard so far the are great speakers for the price.
