Great utility amp for professionals
Excellent utility amp for installation professionals. We'll see how long it lasts, but it runs cool so it'll probably last for years.

Very good price and quality
I'm an IT manager for a restaurant chain, and I've been using these for a few years at our stores for music. Haven't had any fail on me yet. They just work!

Great little amps
These are great little amps. Affordable. I just simply plug in my echo dot into it using a 3.5mm to RCA adapter and then use more RCA cables to daisy chain to 3 other amps. I run 8 outdoor speakers with them or I should say my daughter does.

Subpar - Go with higher watt
I guess I expected something a little easier and more powerful.

poorly designed speaker input
The speaker input block the sticks out of the back of the unit is loose, and thus the sound that comes out of the speakers is either off or scratchy. Very gently wiggling the block can fix the issue, but as soon as I let go of it, the scratchy sound returns. I'll try another one, but it looks like a poor design. If the replacement works better, i'll update this review.

Plenty of power for my application
Works perfectly to power three MB Quart subs in a bass platform mounted under my home theater chairs!

Not much power with buzz
I bought it to power the center speaker of my surround sound system. Not to sure about the power rating because I have to run it in bridge mode to get enough power. The unit also has a buzz around 120Hz with additional ringing around 2Khz that is pretty irritating if the amp is set to max gain. Set a mid-level gain the buzz is only noticable with no signal in a quiet room, but still unacceptable in my opinion.

Great simple amp
I am using this with an airport express to add an outdoor speaker AirPlay 2 zone. It works perfectly. With the auto-sense power mode, it does take a full 10 seconds from starting playing music from airplay for the amp to start outputting sound. This is a pretty long time, but for my use it is fine. The amp consistently shuts off after 12 minutes of no music playing. The 100W is PLENTY power enough to drive 4 speakers (8ohm wired in parallel with switch set to 4ohm) in an outdoor yard area with the volume set to maybe 60%.

Garbage... Wish I could rate it zero stars
What a waste of money. This garbage amplifier didn't work right out of the box. First, it creates a constant loud buzz in the speakers that are hooked up to it, with or without a source input. The higher the input gain, the louder the buzz.. The buzz is louder than than the source material - like a bad ground in the amp - making it completely unusable in any application. Second, the signal sensing input didn't work to turn the amp on and off. It just stayed on all the time. To boot, Monoprice wouldn't warranty the amplifier after 30 days even though the problem was right out of the box. What a waste of money. In it's place is a cheap-0 2x25 Sure amp doing an admirable job powering two Atmos speakers in a 7.2.4 setup while this pile sits in the trash can.

Works great
Works as advertised and I like the auto on feature. I am planning on purchasing an additional unit to power another set of outdoor speakers.

Great for a SONOS connect unit. Plenty of power and auto on works great! Highly recommended.
