One failed after 3 years
I have two separate systems each using one of these units (200W) in bridge mode to drive an in-wall subwoofer. One unit stopped powering on after about 3 years. No power, no lamps, etc. I confirmed no shorts, speaker cabling around 8 ohms, and swapping the two units confirms that the one unit just died. Unfortunately past the warranty and past the extra year of warranty from my AMEX. Not sure whether to replace it with another or look for something else.

Works perfectly as Dolby Atmos ceiling speaker
I've been using this power amp for about 3 weeks now. So far very pleased. Used it as a power amp for additional 2 ceiling speakers connected to an Anthem preamp using its 12 trigger function. Everything works perfectly and the sound quality and power delivery are as good as I expected for an amp of this type and price. We'll see how reliable this amp is over time.

If you want a horrible, deafening feedback noise, buy these
To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. These started playing up right around the warranty expiration date. What started out as a light hissing sound that could be corrected by powering off the amps, increasingly got louder until it's useless playing music through the speakers due to the feedback. Support from Monoprice has been ridiculously poor. Why brand it if you aren't going to stand by your own product. It really has me thinking about not using any of their higher end products for any homes I build or rehab if this is the type of support they provide (which is essentially an apology that the product does not meet expectations)

BAD AMP
I am stuck with and AMP that does not work. Would not stay on and if was working had a load hum from the sub. Tech support is aware. ALL I WANT IS A RE-FUND...

great amp
sends a good amount of power to my two 10" Aria Subwoofers. my only complaint is that the screws that hold down the wire is extremely small, i had to go buy a kit of small screwdrivers just to set this up. would be great if you included a small tool just for that.

Nice little amp with a decent amount of wattage output for most systems. I'm using 2 of these for outdoor landscape speakers and sub

Pretty Good for Outdoor Use
I have this powering a pair of rock speakers through my SONOS connect out by my pool. Really good for that purpose. I have the master volume (located in the back) set at about 90% (just below peek THD), and it sounds really nice even when cranked up full through the SONOS app. Pros: inexpensive for the amount of power, silent and small Cons: Class D amps are, by their nature, bandwidth limited, so you will not get thumping bass and crisp highs, particularly at high volume. Overall, I recommend this unit if you're not trying to achieve high fidelity.

Great little value amp
This is not a high end amp, but it works great for what it is. Its a great value, i am using it for outdoor speakers where sound quality is less important than overall project cost.

Excellent fit for the job...!
I was looking for an amplification solution for my brother's bar that had as few controls in front as possible as I was tired of being called down to the bar to "fix something" because someone had adjusted the bass, treble, balance or volume on the existing amp. This baby literally has just a power switch on the front, nothing else. The gain control is to the rear of the amplifier. Phoenix connectors are also used for the speakers, and these are actually better than the usual 5-way binding posts for permanent installs - once installed, there's very little chance of someone accidentally unplugging something and plugging it back in the wrong way. I was looking for something "fiddle-proof" , and the Unity 200 (and the Unity 100) turned out to be the perfect solutions. Even the fact that they'll automatically accept any voltage between 100V and 240V works in my favour, as I live in a country where 220V is the standard and everyone uses transformers for equipment purchased out of the US, and there's always the risk of someone plugging stuff into the wrong voltage. I might have also tried the Unity 450, but Monoprice put a volume knob on the front of that one, grr... I have just one peeve, and it's a small one - the font used for the writing on the front panels of the Unity 100 and the Unity 200 is a bit different, and it's noticeable when they're stacked (particularly if you have OCD, LOL). And why would it be necessary to identify what's obviously a power switch anyway? :-) If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be this - add HP and LP filtering controls to the amp (like what they do for car audio amps) - this would eliminate the need to have that filtering done upstream (I use a Dayton DSP408 for that purpose).
