MorningStar Farms Plant Based Chik'n Patties Original - 10oz/4ct

We have been loyal customers for years. A great many years. We had to have made you rich, we gave you bacoodles of money, buying your Chic Patties. Then you *had* to change the recipe. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! This new garbage is the very worst, most nauseating, most disgusting, deeply disturbing, positively preposterous, and absolutely most absurd food we have ever tasted. Bring back the other recipe ASAP or it’s quite likely we will starve to death or lose our minds. It was perfect, you can’t improve perfection. The original was 100 stars. This slop is negative one million times infinity :) On the bright side, if there’s ever another tire shortage at my car dealership, we could just put these suckers on the car and save money!

My family does eat meat but we are moving towards not doing so, due to not agreeing with factory farming practices. This product is honestly amazing. It genuinely tastes better than any chicken product we've tried. The texture is spot on. They are flavorful and unlike chicken, there are never the little weird bits that are off-putting. We absolutely love these and keep them at home and at work for quick lunches or an easy dinner on a busy night. You can't go wrong with these and once you try them, I guarantee you will love them.

I use to buy but you changed the recipe and it leaves an after taste and my son will not eat them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These morning, Star Farms original chicken Patty's are great you put them in the toaster or conventional oven and get a little crisp to them that are a family favorite.

I used to have these when I was like 17 - 18 years old. I’m 39 now and they bring me back to the good ol days. :) I get a brioche hamburger bun, a slice of pepper jack and a slice of Colby jack, a lil dollop of ketchup, and one of these patties and it’s a great sandwich!! These are fantastic and I will continue to buy them.

I would give 0 if I could. Very disappointing that the recipe was changed. Companies should listen to their consumers. I used to buy 2 a week and will no longer buy this product due to the skunk taste.

This is so infuriating they ruined all the chicken products by switching from veggie to vegan without telling anyone. No these are no the original chik-n patties, they ruined them just like the buffalo nuggets. They don't taste even remotely the same. They added some seasoning to try to cover up the taste and texture.

These are terrible, what happened to the “incogmeato” ones? I can’t find them in stores.

The flavor and texture changed. I'm so disappointed, I will no longer be purchasing Morning Star Farms chicken patties any longer.

I love them, a great sandwich. I watch my intake on my daily bases and I include these and they taste great. I even snack on them and they are satisfying.

This is absolutely horrible. I am a meat eater who has religiously eaten your chikn patties since 2000, even after returning to eating meat. Like almost daily. My autistic child loved them. Last year when I bought a package I thought I must have gotten a spoiled pkg or one that someone let sit out at the store. I took one bite and threw the pkg away. I was excited to buy a normal pkg and fix one the next day. Still a disgusting oily foul taste. Then I noticed the “new and improved recipe”. This is genuinely horrible. Your chicken patties were the only fake meat that had a distinctive taste and wasn’t trying to be like everyone else. Now it tastes like you’re trying to taste like the rest, but we’re left with an inedible product. I bought up all of the old recipe I could find and wanted to cry the day they ran out. Your patties were the only fake meat I could stand. My non-vegetarian children all loved them and were devastated to find out they just don’t exist anymore. The little changes you’d made over the years were fine. This is completely horrible. I sadly keep checking your socials and web page to see if they’ll ever change back.

I have eaten these veggie chick patties for my whole life and I like the them a lot! The taste and texture are what I am used to and it makes a great meal.

Almost every other week, we made spaghetti with sauce and mock chicken parmesean, using these patties. It was delicious. We are kosher and cant eat meat and milk together, so its a miracle to have chik patties. However, now we dont eat that any more. At first we thought there was something wrong with our preparation, now we realize that the patties have changed, and they taste bad. Morning star--tell us what is going on. We deserve to know.

I agree with so many others, this isn’t anything near what the original Buffalo Chicken patties taste like. Smaller patties, saltier, dry and more expensive. Unfortunately, I will not be buying anymore Morningstar products.

Still great. I don’t know why people are complaining about some “new recipe” - they still taste great to me. I love these in a sandwich or chopped up in a salad. No complaint and a staple in our freezer.

Poor taste. Doesn't taste like chicken. Poor texture. Bland, even with mustard and ketchup. Expensive. Won't buy again. Don't recommend. May throw away the rest of the patties.

WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE RECIPE?!?!! If I could give this a zero I would. I've eaten Morningstar farms for over 25 years and I'm done!!! First it was the hot dog flavored chix nuggets now you change the "original recipe" chix burgers to taste like that too, stop just stop! So gross :( absolutely depressing that I will no longer buy your products, Boca burger here I come!!!

Hate the new recipe. Please bring the old recipe back these were my favorite along with the nuggets. So sad I can’t eat them anymore.

I went on an health journey 5 months ago. I decided to go fully pescatarian. Honestly, this product and many others Morning Star has to offer have made this transition much easier. I really loved chicken patties and I feel like I’m not leaving that behind and still being true to my new diet. These honestly (when air fried) taste wonderful. I love that I can supplement my pescatarian diet with these and still get my protein.
