Great scent. Not too overpowering. Leaves my floors looking new. Once you get the hang of using the product it’s absolutely amazing.

I only gave this a 2 because of our history...having just bought a MCM dining set there was nothing else that came to mind when a good cleaning was needed...so disappointing...after multiple wipe downs my furniture now looks worse than when I started...after reading my own review I gave it 1 star!

Not happy with new product

Just recently I purchased two 946 ml bottles of Murphy Oil as I have been using this product for years. I did not notice the label that said new formula and continued to use this product on my hardwood and tile floors . I started to notice that my floors began to feel sticky after I washed them. Then I started noticing footprints and shoe prints on the floor. I also noticed streak marks when I pulled my chairs in and out from the table. I also noticed that my hardwood floors didn’t seem in certain spots to be as shiny as they were previously. I started to investigate and realize that Murphy’s have changed their product with a new formula which in my estimation has caused all of these issues I am having with my floors. I’ve spent the last few weeks washing floors on hand and knees with just water numerous times to get the stickiness off my floors. To say the least I’m very disappointed in the new product that Murphy’s oil is selling. I loved the old product but will no longer be using this product. It breaks my heart to throw out full container and most of another container that I purchased, that will go unused.

I really had high hopes for this product because I have friends who say it's the only cleaner they use for wood furniture. The first couple of times using it I thought the surface looked great but after that my opinion changed. The oil left the furniture's finish hazy and sticky. Very disappointed and hard to undone the damage it has caused.

Citronella smell is disgusting

The citronella scent is absolutely horrible, nauseating and gives me a headache. It burns my sinuses and eyes, which turns into a headache. Why can’t you offer a fragrance-free version or pick something pleasant like orange or lemon instead of citronella, which is used as mosquito repellent? This cleans okay, but still requires a lot of heavy-duty scrubbing.

I've had furniture for 25 years and only dusted it. This is the first time I cleaned it and it's so shiny now. The cleaner also got every fingerprint from my kitchen cabinets. And it's on 1/4 per gallon of water so it'll last a long time

We have owned a family restaurant since 1976, it’s a seasonal restaurant so in the off season we tear everything down and give it a real deep cleaning , we have always used Murphy soap on the front of the house all the woodwork, booths, tables, chairs, etc.. it will even clean syrup off when your water gets cold, we take alot of pride in keeping our place clean and get complements all the time about how clean our place is!!

I just rented an apartment in a very old building. They remodeled and replaced everything but the cabinets. New floor back splash baseboards. Countertops stove etc. The cabinets though were rough to say the least. So it actually brought down the look of the kitchen. Cabinets Are natural wood but had been neglected iver the years. So i bought murphys oil soap and went to work. First coat it was. Unrecognizable the second coat they look almost new I cannot say anything more about it,it's amazing.
