Description
Among Nambe's earliest designs, the Nambe Butterfly Bowl celebrates both form and function and is designed by world renowned artist and sculptor Richard K. Thomas. Butterfly Bowl is handcrafted of sand-cast and hand-polished metal Nambe Alloy. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye, the elongated sides gracefully reach upward like wings to create its simple, elegant curves. With temperature retaining properties, this bowl may safely go in the refrigerator or freezer for chilling, and in the oven for warming, but not, however, in a microwave or dishwasher. Butterfly Bowl works beautifully for serving anything from chilled fruit salad to party snacks to hot side dishes at the dinner table. Mid-Century Modern design. Hand wash and dry immediately.

Beautiful bowl purchased as a wedding gift. Hubby and I received one 30 years ago, and it's still one of our "go to" bowls for every day and special occasions. It's not nearly as pristine as it was all those years ago, but then neither are we!
