The maps are very broad and vague, just a few pages per continent, with the rest of each continent's section made up of flags and tidbits - less informative than the quick facts box on Wikipedia's country article pages. Bottom line: If you want an atlas with maps on a better scale than two pages per continent (example Japan and UK are only slightly larger than an adult thumb), go elsewhere. Minor annoyance: Metric system emphasized, sometimes no US/Imperial measurements given.
