A: Matt, I just bought Native shampoo and they have not improved to design to make lifting the pump easier. Seems they've known these issues for over a year at least, probably more. I won't buy again.

Q: I also can not get the pump open. Which direction are you supposed to turn it? I've tried both.

A: Hi there, Thanks for reaching out and we're so sorry that you're having trouble. In order to get your body wash opened we suggest holding onto the middle component of your body wash and then twisting the dispenser part of the pump turning in a circular motion. After twisting a few times, the pump should pop up and open. We hope this helps and should you need more tips or help, we also have a video featured on tik tok on how to do this.

Q: Does it smell the same as the Native 2 in 1 shampoo + conditioner? I'm hoping for a cleaner scent and not as strong? The 2 in 1 has a strong scent/feel to the skin.

While the ingredients may be different the scent would still be relatively close. To confirm, our scent is identified as a clean, herbal, earthy, sun-soaked fragrance.

You need to use a little more than other soaps, but definitely worth it. Your skin absorbs 10% of what you put on it, so this soap makes me feel great about it. No leftover residue. I ended up getting the shampoo and conditioner as well. You don’t feel bad or irritated.

The formula lathers well and leaves my skin feeling soft. Personally, the scent is a little strong for me. I tend to prefer more feminine or sweeter fragrances, so the bold eucalyptus and mint notes weren’t exactly my style. However, if you enjoy fresh, spa-like, herbal scents, this would likely be perfect for you. Overall, it really comes down to preference. The quality of the body wash is great, it performs well, and I love that it’s made with cleaner ingredients. Even though the scent wasn’t my favorite, I can still say it did what it’s supposed to do and left me feeling clean and refreshed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Native Body Wash in Eucalyptus & Mint is a great smelling body wash. This is something that both my wife and I like. It is sulfate, paraben, dye, phthalate and cruelty free. It is made with 9 clean, simple, effective ingredients. This body wash lathers well on a loofa and on your skin. It rinses off well and leaves your skin smelling refreshed and smooth/soft. I get more of a toned down eucalyptus scent and less mint right out of the container but after lathering the mint does come to the front more. I think this is a good body wash so far as I have used it for a few weeks now.
