The Galileo® Tempest 350 is mini, yet mighty in features and versatility making it the perfect backpacking light. While Most lanterns only offer a single 360- degree beam pattern, the Galileo Tempest offers 120-degree, 360-degree and spot beam versatility in a compact size that won’t add bulk or weight to your pack. The 360-degree pattern is best suited for providing balanced area lighting such as at a campsite or inside a tent. The 120-degree pattern is ideal for projecting light directly in front of you as you walk on a path or hike on a trail. The spot beam pattern functions like a flashlight to direct light at extended distances well beyond the average lantern. Attach, hang, carry, or mount the lantern just about anywhere with the multi-use lanyard, dual hanging hooks or magnetic base. With 8 light modes, variable dimming, and a Direct-to-Red feature you can adapt to any situation while conserving your night vision as well as battery life. Powered by 3AA batteries, the lantern boasts 350 max lumens and up to a 40-hour run time. Designed to be IPX7 waterproof, the Galileo Tempest performs in the rain and can even be submerged making it stormproof and ready to venture with you into the outdoors.

I’ve owned this light for about 2 years. I have only used it a handful of times and when I did it was fantastic. Problem is, when we had to change batteries the switch would never work correctly again so it’s useless. A small pressure pad to activate the hard plastic switch is all well and good however, placing it on a rotating battery cover is probably not the best idea. We have about 6 other Nemo lights and live all of them. This one missed the mark though!

It illuminates so brightly, there should be no issue seeing where you have to be!. I live in an extremely rural area, a lot of open land so it gets pitch dark at night to where tou can barely see your hand in feont of your face. It lit up my grandkids playset from 50ft no problem, and even lit up my shed at 100 feet very well. The lighting options are very nice and the 360 will be very useful when I'm camping.

The 350 lumens are surprisingly bright for its size, and the multiple lighting modes are great for both camping and if needed, emergency use. The build quality is solid, durable, and the waterproof feature is a huge plus for outdoor adventures. I’ve used it during a heavy rain storm on a camping trip, and it performed flawlessly. The magnetic base and hanging hook are smart, convenient touches. For example, the magnetic feature is slick if working under the hood of a car at night. The lantern, although it is compact, it is bright and incredibly handy for tent camping! We used it as a light to hang up at top so we could see at night. It came with several different settings including red light, white light and different brightness levels of the white light. The battery life held up great. I’m sure it still has plenty of power in it and it survived atleast 3 days with us without needing to charge. Overall, I would recommend this for your camping trip checklist as it provides a light source while maintaining a compact figure. Highly recommend!

Super bright and it covers a large surface area. There is also a dimmable option. Definitely will recommend this for any late night hikes or adventures. There is also a mode where the light is red. 10/10 Will be using this for ghost hunting as well 😂

Can be used as a top light in a tent, a normal flashlight and even a hunting flashlight. It's bright light can help ya see the way during these activities and has a few different brightness settings. I keep it clipped to my pack for days I want to go out on nature adventures.

In the video I attached it shows the different settings and brightness. The lantern is smaller than I expected it to be but still works great. The lantern needs 2 AA batteries so would be much better if it was rechargeable but that is my only "complaint". Overall I would definitely recommend this product.

It fits nicely in your hand and is super light weight. It has a variety of different settings with different levels of brightness and even offers a red light lantern. It is easily worked and simple to change the settings. Because of its size, it would be ideal for traveling or hiking. I am going to keep this in my car for emergencies. The battery has a long life and can easily be changed. I really like this product and would highly recommend it!
