The Nerf Rival Mirage XXIV-800 blaster includes 10 Nerf Rival Accu-Rounds, which have an improved aerodynamic design and dimple pattern to provide more consistent flight. Load the magazine 2 ways for flexibility as you battle: Remove the magazine to reload with Nerf Rival rounds, or open the breech to quickly reload the the Nerf Rival balls into the magazine while it's attached to the blaster. The barrel is optimized with a streamlined design that's engineered for enhanced performance. The Mirage XXIV-800 blaster fires 8 rounds in a row at a velocity of 90 feet per second. It includes a large front sight, trigger lock, and 3 tactical rails to customize with Nerf accessories. To prime this spring-action blaster, move the priming slide backward and forward. Nerf Rival blasters are great toys for teen boys and girls to enjoy competitive games. Blasters and accessories each sold separately, subject to availability. Eyewear recommended (not included). Awesome and fun, incredibly accurate with the sights. I only have an xshot long shot to compare in accuracy and I'd say this might be a little more accurate. Occasionally a ball curves or floats but overall I'm impressed with the accuracy. Only thing I would add is definitely get extra ammo as these things bounce and roll so expect to magically loose some. Very fun for me and my son, we only do plinking with this one since he can't prime it by himself yet but I'm thinking about getting him the challenger since I'm wanting that extended magazine.

I did like that it was pretty safe in the fact that when he would shoot at me the balls were pretty soft. It's definitely fun to have around but I think kids would absolutely love this toy.

It made the most awesome playtime between me & my daughter and my boyfriend. Honestly perfect for all ages looking for a little fun with nerf. I was highly surprised at the durability of the rival mirage. The rounds that go inside are little blue balls. They’re super soft that kind of resemble like a really small golf ball, which helps because the strength of the shot is very strong. Helps to make sure the fun is safe. Trying this out just made me want to go buy more to play with my daughter. 
Popping fun for the kiddos!

My 7-year-old loves it, and it has quickly become his favorite toy. This blaster is not only powerful but also incredibly fun and easy to use. . The blaster is lightweight, making it perfect for younger kids to handle with ease. My child had no trouble understanding the loading mechanism and quickly got the hang of firing it accurately. Safety is always a priority, and I appreciate that the Mirage XXIV-800 is designed with kids in mind. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The boys were over the moon to get a new weapon and practice some shots. The colors are great like any nerf gun vibrant and fun. It’s sturdy so when dropped it’s all good no need to worry about broken pieces. The comfort they said was decent as it feels a bit bulky. And followed by that they did struggle a bit to load the shots too only because it’s hard to pull back…the boys are teenager and elm ages so I was hoping the older one wouldn’t struggle as much, which he didn’t but still said it wasn’t the easiest. The accuracy isn’t too good with using the guide but without it the target goes down. So my boys like to use it by their own eye as a guide & say it works awesome. It’s become their new favored toy weapon as of now.
Simple and fun to use.

The only reason it’s not a 5 star is because it’s pretty tough to pull the charging mechanism, which makes it too hard for my kids to use. This Nerf Rival Mirage fires accurately, straight for a reasonable distance, and the balls it comes with are softer than those that I’ve had before, making it really great for having around kids. It has a safety on it as well which I think is another great feature. Overall, very good product and I would recommend!

The ammunition balls are soft but still bouncy and have a good hit. I definitely recommend wearing safety glasses while using this toy. The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars is the gun occasionally jams and that’s super annoying. It’s not fun trying to play and dealing with a jammed gun randomly.

The Nerf Rival Mirage XXIV-800 gets high marks from my Nerf experts (aka my teen boys). It comes with a large removal magazine that holds 10 rounds which can fire rapidly! It was super easy to load the chamber with a pull back method or directly through the breech. It did not jam at all. It has a trigger lock and bright orange colors for safety. It also had was very accurate and had a long range! They said it felt nice in the hands and was not heavy or cumbersome. My kids also liked that it was compatible with other nerf accessories so they can mix and match. Overall, the Nerf Rival Mirage XXIV-800 performs well and has a durable design. My teens had a blast with a Nerf battle around the yard. I highly recommend safety glasses as it fires fast and strong but generally is safe and harmless for body shots.
