Best Investment
After reviewing my internet bill, I took action to ensure reduce my bill by over $30 monthly by purchasing my own equipment. I've used other branded routers and modems, but NETGEAR is hands down the best.

Fast, Stable, and Truly Future-Proof
Upgraded to the Nighthawk CM3000 with Xfinity and the difference was immediate. Setup was quick, activation was easy, and I’m consistently seeing near-gigabit download speeds with noticeably improved upload performance. The connection has been rock solid and pairs perfectly with my mesh Wi-Fi system. Great performance and worth the upgrade.

Excellent speeds! Highly recommend
Extremely powerful. Easy to setup, except the additional task of calling Cox to allow it to be recognized, since their online verification of the modem didn’t work. But that’s not Netgear’s fault. Overall I’m getting impressive speeds over 2Gbps to my wired desktop, & over 1Gbps to my phones & iPads.

The new DOCSIS 3.1 modem is a definite improvement over the 4 year old DOCSIS that I had. Easy to Set up. Much better for Zoom and YouTube streaming.

Works Find for My Internet Needs
I was appreciative that Netgear sent me an email letting me know it was time to update my router with a link to ensure I was getting the correct one that worked with Xfinity. Setup was easy and it’s working fine. Internet connection is good. No issues so far.

Staying with a proven performer
I have only been using the new modem for a week, but if past performance of my old CM600 is any indication, I should have years of issue free usage. I'll stick with Netgear until I have a reason to switch.

It works well so far
I had to buy another cable modem since my previous NETGEAR was no longer being supported. It cost a lot more than the previous one I bought, but I am satisfied.

My new DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem (CM1000)
I am a 71-year-old who is better at technical stuff than my husband, but was a bit concerned about adding this new modem to my former router. It was quite easy to set up and then when I contacted my Internet provider online via an app, it automatically connected my Wi-Fi. I was happy there were no glitches. My husband notices how fast the connection is compared to our former modem.

CM1000 Cable Modem
The modem was surprisingly easy and quick to set up and activate using the Xfinity app on my smart phone and the MAC address on the modem label. It took just a few minutes and has been working well.

Netgear modem DOCSIS 3.1
Modem was easy to set up. The only stumbling block was that there should have been more emphasis on the fact that my internet provider needed to be informed that I have a new modem and my account needed to updated to reflect that fact. This was an arduous process because I had to resort to these dumb chat services. What was finally accomplished could have been accomplished in half the time or less if I could've actually TALKED to Xfinity support. Otherwise the modem it self runs effortlessly as did the previous Netgear modem.
