Very easy to install. First one I got was a DOA, but got very good support in resolving the issue, and a replacement within 24 hours. The performance improvement was readily apparent. The one disappointment is that there is only one cable output, and a second one would have been a major improvement (we owned their previous generation, and that one had 2 ports).

The Nighthawk modem installed easily and operates with no issues. Getting the maximum speeds sent by my ISP provider.

This modem was just what I was looking for to go with my Xfinity voice. Setup is a breeze with Xfinity app and takes about 10 mins max.

After connecting to the Netgear CM2050V modem I had just purchased and getting setup with my Internet provider I started getting crazy fast Internet speed and WiFi speed as well when running the modem speed test I was hit 1400 gbps my WI-FI was running 1300 gbps download speed and I hit 50gbps upload speeds. So my Internet speed was almost doubled compared to what I was running. I've checked it periodically and it's been running those speeds since I got it up and running. Then I was outside from my house and had to use my phone usually when Im at the lower end of my garden where I was I never had a wi-fi signal and to my surprise I was still connected to the WI-FI and that's a good 75 yards away and my router is in the middle room of my house I should have kept moving away and checked how much further I could have went because I have cameras I've always had to keep close to the house to connect now I have such awesome coverage I will be moving them to better locations. But all in all this setup has exceeded any expectations I had and has greatly increased the distance of the WI-FI signal along with the crazy fast speed of my Internet now it's a awesome setup and now I know what I have like I said I will have a much better coverage of my house perimeter for my camera setup. I am very happy I made the changes and it's exceeded what I ever expected! Thank you Netgear for producing such a awesome product.

Works perfectly with Xfinity internet and Voice. Great speeds, no lag. Phone quality is clear. Go get the CM2050V if you need a great modem!

This modem is not compatible with Xfinity. The speed is crippled because of a Netgear firmware issue. Look elsewhere for a better modem for Xininty - or just avoid Xfinity - who will charge you for max speed and deliver 30% of that

I've had this modem for about 3 years with no issues. I have Xfinity service. They have told me several times my modem is a problem. Usually, it is a service issue. I get 653mbs download just before this review. I never used the voice line feature.

Surprisingly, the modem is not as big as it looks and a little smaller than my CM1150V. It looks sleek and doesn't take up as much space. Activation was easy using the Xfinity app. It has stayed connected, and I've had no problems.

I paired it with the RS500 router and the sky is the limit now, speeds so fast it's amazing.

Extremely easy setup with Xfinity app. Just follow on screen direction from Xfinity app.

The modem paired perfectly with a Netgear RS200 WIFI 7 router. My download speed doubled. The only minor problem I had was the instructions said to use Tel Port 1 but only Tel Port 2 would work with Xfinity.
