Great console but only if you want the new features
The switch 2 improves on a lot of the faults that the original switch had like the joy cons, stand, the graphics, etc. And I'm really enjoying the console after over half a year of having it. The only thing I'd warn people about is that in order to get the better graphics for old games like Breath of the Wild you need to pay a few extra bucks (Normally $10-$20) the games in general are really expensive so if you want this console just be careful about which games you buy so that you don't drain your savings.

No New Games, Overdue Updates and Overpriced Fees
I've had the Switch 2 since launch and it's overpriced overhyped garbage sadly. The new games that were released were nerfed to oblivion and are unplayable due to no true modern multiplayer modernization. Mario Kart for instance was falsely advertised to have this really cool knockout-royale model which is limited to 20 players and 4 highway tracks. They nerfed the main race mode as well, and have nothing new overall that older Mario Karts didnt do better. On that note all of the other "Switch 2" games are just Switch 1 games in 1440p (at most) with a 60 fps update (sometimes). The NSW2 has been riding off BOTW for literally the 10th year in a row now, with TOTK joining in with it's 60 fps update. These games genuinely are a let down, as they aren't new experiences other than 60fps which should be free. There is no way going forward I'm paying $80 for 15hr games like Donkey Kong or Kirby Air Riders until a serious game with actual gameplay is released. As a new console the NSW2 is very poor technically also, and disconnects from Wi Fi under heavy loads in really any game. I had to send mine into Nintendo to get it fixed. Hopefully more 60fps updates come out for every game but Nintendo doesn't care and they're pushing cheap slop as long as people keep buying it.

Amazing… and dangerously addictive
Absolutely loving my Switch 2. Everything feels smoother and the flexibility to play handheld or docked is unbeatable. Fair warning: clear your schedule. It turns “30 minutes” into hours. This thing is a trap (in the best way).

Works Great :)
Many of these reviews are based on damaged box or saying it delivered empty but not about the switch itself. I got it for Christmas. And mine works just great :) Luckily I have games from the first one to play until a good game comes out that I want

Everything you liked about the Switch, just better! Runs Switch 1 games more smoothly; Switch 2 upgraded titles run like a dream. Feels premium and I actually like it better in handheld than the Switch 1 OLED despite being a little larger. And if you're gonna play docked, the Switch 2 Pro controller is absolutely worth the money. If there are Switch games you still want to play sell your Switch 1 and get this or if you haven't ever had one treat yourself to the best Nintendo experience straight away!

The bigger screen, the magnetic controllers, and better graphics are great! But not being able to watch YouTube or download any streaming services to the Switch 2 has been a bummer. All you can really do is play games on, nothing else.

Such a Perfect Upgrade
I got this for Christmas after eyeing it for a while. I was on the fence because of the price and the fact that I have perfectly fine OLED, but after holding a friend’s, I got that itch! I wasn’t going to get one until much later, but then got it for Christmas and it is AMAZING. Truly, it feels amazing when you hold it, the screen is so clear and so large, that you feel fully immersed. I’ve been playing Hogwarts Legacy, Animal Crossing, Dreamlight Valley, and Zelda on it and it is truly like night and day. If you have the money for it and you’ve been on the fence, I highly highly recommend taking the leap (especially since the price of RAM will be going up and consoles aren’t getting any cheaper). I don’t usually write reviews, it’s just that this is the best gift I’ve received in a long time and it has already brought me countless hours of cozy fun and joy, and I just had to share, haha ❤️ I included a picture of a side by side, between the OLED and the Switch 2. Yes, the OLED is going to have a deeper black, and very rich color, while the Switch 2 is slightly more muted (though for this game, Animal Crossing, the switch 2 edition comes out next week, this is the switch 1 version on both the OLED and the new S2). I’m sure they will one day create an OLED Switch 2, but this will be many years from now. All of the games that are being optimized for switch 2 look even better than the OLED in my opinion! Until then, the speed and clarity of the device, along with the incredible screen size, really make it a fantastic experience. If you get it, I hope you enjoy! Happy gaming 🥰

Hard to hold and heavy but works great
Loads very fast and looks great but it's so uncomfortable to hold. I have carpal tunnel and I needed to buy a separate grip to use the console in handheld mode. The sides are curved so it feels slippery and hard to hold. It's also VERY heavy for a handheld. I'd really like to see a smaller version with the same power.

Sucks to pay $500 for something that dont work properly
I got to pick it up in the store and I noticed the handles die faster and don’t charge correctly at all and I got another one and is fine .i might need new handles or a separate charger.

Wish I could put a negative 5 stars. The box came in empty. Just a target box was delivered and no switch 2 inside! Customer service sucks says they cannot help me because it says delivered . No refund no replacement just negative $500 in my account with no switch.

Order was supposed to be delivered on 12/29. App kept on saying that order is delayed and update coming. It never updated. Called 3 times customer service. 3 rd time finally they said that they can only issue a refund. It seems like your service reps do not have access to detailed delivery information and are unable to really fix issues. Your support systems need a major overhaul. In addition, the people that answer the phone have a hard time communicating clearly.
