Nite Ize S-Biner MicroLock Stainless Steel, 5 Pack (2 Pack)

I'd been using S-biners for quite a few years between my car fob and my keyring so I can separate them. First I used one of the original smallish ones, but after a year or two, the spring sagged, and the keyring would randomly fall off. No problem, I bought a 2 pack, I replaced it, good to go. A year or so later, I noticed the spring sagged again, but I had not yet replaced it. Anyway, I was at a restaurant after a golf day, and I had stuffed my keys in my hoodie after the round. I realized this, literally as I was having a stand-up in the bathroom, reached into my hoodie to move it to my pants pocket, grabbed the fob, and my keyring separated flew through the air, directly into the toilet perfect timing as it was flushing. And yes I reached my hand into a public toilet, but they were gone! I walked out of the bathroom, my golf friends asked what was wrong, I looked stunned. Thank goodness, I still had the fob so I could drive home! The next day, I was back on Nite Ize site, and they had invented the MicroLock Mini. A couple of days later I locked my keys, no problems for five years! Other reviews express frustration that the lock is a fiddlely, but I figure the valet or whatever can wait a fuxxing second, at least I don't have to worry about reaching into public toilet toilet in the future!

I use these on my purse zipper as a “lock” against pickpocketing. They are excellent! Highly recommend!

These are absolute CHAMPION S-Biner...anyone who doesn't like them isn't using them correctly. I've used these for over ten years in all sorts of scenarios that would test them and they come out with 100% confidence. Other S-Biner Have failed...not these. Rock solid product.

First off, Nite Ize is one of my favorite companies. I could talk about this company all day. I love the S biners. Especially the small ones with microlock feature. I have a Paracord necklace with an s-biner microlock to hook my phone or wallet to. Nite Ize makes the best biners, hands down. The Flip out phone stand I've had on my phone for about 4 or 5 years, and its still on there. I've had to replace the 3m tape of course, but the product is the best phone stand period. I've also got the small pocket sized flashlight, and it's my favorite light. I could list much more items, but you get the idea. Nite Ize is truly an awesome company that delivers some really awesome products.

The spring-loaded levers are very difficult to operate. I had to go to the local hardware store to get the next bigger size. I should have done that to begin with.

I bought it 15 years ago and it’s still in good condition!

The “easy to unlock with simple twist” proves to be quite a challenge. I haven’t unlocked it yet. Maybe my 6 year old granddaughter can do it. I am a longtime fan and user of your products and will continue. But this little bigger needs an instruction sheet. Cheers - T

I bought these S-Biner MicroLocks for purpose of securing the double-zippers on my backpacks, tote bags, kit bags, and other containers while I’m in transit or in public places. They are very visually unobtrusive and unassuming. They seem like an ideal method for deterring unzip-and-rip thefts during travels—and unlatches quickly when I need to open my containers. They fit nicely inside the loop holes of zipper handles. I just ordered several more sets for my other storage bags.

These are somewhat smaller than the #1 s-biner, for some reason - why have this one odd-ball size that isn't present in the rest of the lineup? (I got burned assuming they would fit my application like a #1 s-biner would.) And the twist lock is kind of a pain to engage and disengage, it's too small and hard to twist. What I would like is a #1 SlideLock s-biner, the slide lock idea is great and didn't need to be replaced with this annoying micro lock. But a #1 SlideLock isn't available in the product lineup for some reason.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. I just bought these and the lock is IMPOSSIBLE to move. Completely useless. Cannot open any of them.

Works great for keys. I thought the locking knob would stick out and add girth to the binder but it doesn’t. Works great for my keys.

These are terrific little clips that have uses beyond the lowly role of keychain. I use them in amateur radio for clipping the ends of wire antennas too supports.

I like how durable they are and I like the color. Even though it’s my favorite thing about these, the little lock is hard for me to turn but I’ll get over it lol. I’ve been giving one to everybody I know and they all think they’re the coolest. I’m sure you will too :)

I bought this for my cocker spaniel"s tags because I like to change his collar and split rings are so difficult to use. I really like it, but I would love it if it was a bit shorter in length. If he was any smaller it wouldn't work for him.

Well constructed, easy to use, functional

I love the S-Biner! I used them to secure my dogs tags to their harnesses, with peace of mind that they won't fall off!

Dealing with split rings is a real pain... But these are a great replacement for them. Now to find a supplier for these micro-sized S-Biners.

I have a 2006 Mustang GT with hood pins and I needed an easy way to unclip the wire line and pins from the car. This makes it easy to remove them before service so the mechanics won't scratch up my hood (again). The locking mechanism is an added safety feature and works great to keep the connections secure.
