Bought this about a month ago. Tried to use it on a freshly painted wall when I was touching up the trim. It will not stick to wall. It won’t even stick to itself. 3M is a trusted company. Very disappointed

I spent time applying this tape a couple hours ago to dry walls. When I went to take it off, it took off the paint from those walls! Now I have to repaint those areas and obviously can’t use this tape. Very disappointed.

So expensive. While it does a good job keeping paint from accidentally going on other paint. Doesn't bleed through. But not worth the price.

I paid almost double figuring I was going to get the best. What I got was the peeling of my walls and ceiling while painting my trim. I didn’t even leave the tape on for more the 10 hours. So very disappointed now I have to pay more money to repaint ceiling & walls! So mad!!!

Spent an hour using tweezers to remove torn tape from the corners where it stuck when trying to remove the tape and another hour repainting all the places where it peeled up large chunks of paint.

I purchased this tape and it not pull clean like they advertised! it ruined some spots on my doors and now I have to repaint! I worked so hard taping up the areas of the door I wanted to paint in different colors. I worked very hard for this and it was ruined!

Literally the worst masking tape I've ever used should call it masochist tape because you'd have to be one to intentionally use it. When pulling the tape off it comes off in multiple tiny pieces, and the amount of bleed through on the edges is terrible. I'm going to have to literally repaint two walls because of it. What is going on with this tape? I taped off the floor so I can paint my trim and when I followed the manufactures recommended method of removal it took the finish off my floor.

Worst tape I've ever used. Managed to take off the base layer and texture and damage the paper layer of the drywall. Still had crappy lines with all that. I'd rate 0 if I could.

I bought this to tape off trim on multiple furniture pieces i needed to paint. I taped, primed, then painted two coats on each piece. When I began removing the tape, I noticed a harsh line as well as wood stain coming off on the tape. I left it on less than 48 hours TOTAL, which doesn’t seem like an unrealistic period of time. I’m beyond unimpressed and wholly dissatisfied with this product… after putting 60+ hours into sanding and prepping and staining and painting this is unacceptable. If I was able to leave ZERO stars, I would! Never again!!!!!

Tape is not only good for painting to protect edges and items, use on boxes etc to keep closed and when need to remove, comes off easily without ripping or tearing the box
