Perfect roll of tape/dispenser
They nailed it with this tape and dispenser. I am a new eBay seller and I've had around 20 sales in less than a month. I'm rolling through tape and this is my favorite so far. The tape pulls so smoothly off the roll. It doesn't make that annoying sound that my family can hear when they are trying to sleep upstairs. It really sticks to the boxes. This is going to be my go to from now on. I love it!

Not sticky at all really
This is the worst Scotch packing tape I've used in a while. It's quiet, sure, but it really doesn't "grip" or stick. Today, I used it to seal a box of shoes I needed to drop off at UPS. I had to continuously smooth the tape down and add multiple layers to get it to stick. I will not be buying this again.

Nothing "tough grip" about this product
This “tape” does not stick unless you run your hands over it multiple times or tape it down multiple times. Highly disappointed. At least it won’t rip the box taking it off but that’s not the goal right?

Tape is supposed to stick right?
A key element of packing tape is its ability to adhere to cardboard boxes. This tape fails in this department. Absolute trash tape which was surprising from a brand name like 3M.

Does not stick to moving boxes!
I bought two rolls and they both failed to seal my moving boxes! The tape on all the boxes started to lift off the surface. I usually use the scotch heavy duty, but I thought this would be stronger as it’s rated for moving boxes! Now I can’t even return because I open and used parts of both rolls. And risk damaging my goods in boxes when the tape fails.

The serious look as in What are you doing on my dog face?
The roller will not move the tape forward so it waste tape, as I have to cut using scissors then fold over the end so I can see where to start the next time. It is a disappointment as 3M use to be a brand that could be trusted for quailty. Why include the dog picture? He is cute and he did have to wait for his treat, due to the faulty tape taking much longer than the "Just a minute" I told him.

A moving must have!
I have moved several times over the last decade and I personally found that packing my things was the worst part. I purchased this product for my most recent move and absolutely loved it. It made the process of packing so much easier and quicker than I have experienced every other move. It is very durable and doesn’t require several layers to securely close a box, which I have found typical of most other moving tapes that I have used. On top of that, the dispenser makes applying and cutting the tape much quicker and easier than without the dispenser. I will never go without this tape for another move again!

This does not start easily. The attached cutter does not cut the tape. The tape adhered to the cutter such that it became stained with the label on the cutter. Overall very low quality and frustrating to use. What happened to scotch self tear tape?

Definitely not a tough grip!
Although smooth and easy to dispense, this tape doesn't have a tough grip at all. Probably some of the weakest packing tape I've ever used. I'm going to have to go over my boxes with another tape and hope for the best. Would not recommend this product.

This design is reversed. The sticky side is supposed to face the blade so it would stick there every time you use it. This one’s sticky side is faced up. Every time you rip a tape, the sticky side will slam back down to the roll. Very inconvenient!

Very Frustrated
Packing several brand new, clean boxes and the quality of the tape is lousy!! I'm using way more tape than should be needed. The tape is not sticking and lifting from the boxes almost immediately, therefore, I have to wrap the boxes with excess tape to secure the tape. Waste of time, tape and money!
