A: That's a great question! Although the dispenser is reusable we do not sell refill rolls of the Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape on the 1.5 inch core. The larger roll of the Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape with catalog number 3850-RD is available in refill rolls as its dispenser is also reusable. We offer refill rolls of the Scotch Sure Start Packaging Tape that are 1.88 inch wide tape on a core is 1-1/2" can either be purchased as refills in quantities of 2 or 6 and the product numbers are: DP-1000RF6 or DP-1000-RR-2. I am soooooo upset with this tape! I've been buying it for years and lately it is horrible! It simply won't stick to the boxes. Easily comes off. Doesn't keep it closed unless you use a ton of it! Hate it! Will never buy it again! I'd rate it zero but it doesn't let me.,

Scotch brand tape used to be so reliable. I have bought 2 different rolls of this tape from Target & both rolls are difficult to get started, there is a peel piece that you can pull up but then it ripped off & I couldn't see or find where the tape started again. One I started using the tape it literally would ripped into several long strands & I could never just peel it off & use it to seal a pkg with. I can't imagine the odds are that great getting 2 different rolls of this & both have been defective.Looking for a new brand. I think the tape might being manufactured more thinly causing this problem. I took it back fir a refund & will be looking at a different brand for packing.

It’s ok but I won’t purchase again. I usually buy the Target brand equivalent but thought the “real one” might be better… nah. It works well for some things but I’ve found there are some specific cardboards it just won’t stick to!?! Makes it difficult to rely on for shipping my items to buyers, so I’m going back to the Target brand.
