These are good scissors, but the either the edge or the metal itself has machining imperfections so they dont have a fully smooth operation, the edges bind ever so slightly as the scissors are cutting so it has a 'predictable roughness' as they are being operated. Not as sharp as my old durasharps, but nice to have a new general-purpose scissor at a good price.

I liked these enough to buy a 2nd pair. However the screw that keeps the blades together keeps backing out after a few cuts to where the scissors are not usable.

When the hairdressers were closed (during the pandemic) and I needed my hair out of my eyes and off my face, I used these Precision scissors to cut my hair myself! I bought 3 pair of these--had to return two of them!! They were so hard to open they weren't worth the effort. I kept the 3rd pair only because I was in the middle of a project and couldn't spend any more time getting scissors. I WILL NEVER ORDER SCOTCH SCISSORS AGAIN AFTER GOING THRU THE HASSLE OF RETURNING SCISSORS THAT DID NOT WORK!!! CAN'T WAIT TO TOSS THIS 3RD PAIR!!!

I’ve always liked Scotch scissors but the quality has become subpar. Right out of the pack these made a mess while cutting; not sharp or smooth at all. Disappointing.
