Ample opportunity to pinch fingers in between the thumb and finger handles with this design. The handles close almost completely, there is far less gap than what you can see in the default photo. I bought these due to the high ratings, so I guess this is not a common issue, but if you pinch your fingers while using certain types of scissor handles, don't get these.

They cut, but end of the day are not repairable.
These work great until you need to tighten them, once the plastic cap is removed at the backside of the flat-head screw, there is no way to grip the brash nut, it just spins freely. If I can't disassemble these to wash them, then reassemble with a basic set of screwdrivers and pliers, they are cheap and not a great.

Stylish, but not durable
The handle's red portion is soft rubber, while only the grey is more rigid, and not that hard either. If you cut something thicker like cardboard, the blades can handle it but you will definitely risk breaking the handle, which happened to me, compared to other plastic-handled scissors, and metal-handled, of course. A shame since we usually trust a brand like Scotch, but this is best avoided.

could be sharper
These are good scissors, but the either the edge or the metal itself has machining imperfections so they dont have a fully smooth operation, the edges bind ever so slightly as the scissors are cutting so it has a 'predictable roughness' as they are being operated. Not as sharp as my old durasharps, but nice to have a new general-purpose scissor at a good price.

Broken scissors
I liked these enough to buy a 2nd pair. However the screw that keeps the blades together keeps backing out after a few cuts to where the scissors are not usable.

When the hairdressers were closed (during the pandemic) and I needed my hair out of my eyes and off my face, I used these Precision scissors to cut my hair myself! These scissors are so sharp, and I was so pleased with the outcome, that I am still doing it myself! I would recommend them even for non-beautifying tasks!
