A: Great Question! The Scotch Gift Wrap Tape works best on a smooth paper surface. Unfortunately, we do not test for use on all types of textured wrapping papers. To ensure holding power, you may want to do a small test of the tape on the surface of the wrapping paper to make sure that the tape will stick properly.
