A: Scissors are permitted in carry-on baggage only if the blades measure less than 4 inches (from the pivot point to the tip). The Big Kids Scissors should meet this requirement, but just to be on the safe side, we'd suggest placing them in checked baggage.

Great for sewing
I bought 8 scissors for our 4H sewing group. Each station has a small "tool box." These fit in a small space. They are sharp enough to snip thread or a bit of fabric.

My daughter said it was good to have inn class as it did a great job with cutting. She said that she has not had a good pair of scissors ever like the, Fiskars big kids Ombre scissors. She said they were great to use even being left handed. Being left handed i know the troubles of having a good pair of scissors. Smooth clean cuts, with no ragged edges like some other scissors can do. My daughter is definitely happy with her Fiskars big kids Ombre scissors.

Pretty and useful

The blades are super sharp, and cuts really well. I do a lot of crafting, and these were pretty great with a few kinds of paper, cardboard, cloth, some plastics and even some thin chains.

For more than just “big kids”
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There scissors are branded as being for big kids, but they are great for my mother. Aside from her being petite, she also suffered a stroke which made limited use of her hand. Kid scissors were too weak to cut anything, and regular size scissors were too hard to maneuver at times. These scissors were perfect for her to use. They are sharp enough but easier to manage.

These Scissors Are on Fire!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok...these Fiskars Big Kids Ombre scissors aren't really on fire, but they do look like they have flames, and my kids love them! The packaging states that they're recommended for ages 8 and up, probably due to the pointed tip, which is great for "detail cutting". They're about 6 inches long and I love the "SoftGrip" handle. They cut great and my kids really love the design and colors.

The handle has a soft grip cushion and larger opening for bigger fingers. They’re also 6” in length for quicker cutting coverage.

Love at first sight

The scissors cut very well, paper or soft plastic no problem. They fit my fingers also very well. Easy and comfortable grip to navigate through any complex cut jobs.

Easy to use for the kids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Need a new set of scissors around Christmas time so the kids could wrap presents they had gotten for us. These were perfect! Glides smoothly over the paper not ripping and giving that perfect cut. Their little hands fit it and didn’t give that move when they use to big of scissors. Need a few more pairs!
