Too stiff!!!
The ones I got are too stiff. My preschooler was having difficulty using it
From FiskarsProductExpert team
Sorry to hear these were difficult for your preschooler to use. New scissors can sometimes feel stiff at first, especially for smaller hands. A short break-in period with light use can help, but if they’re still hard to open and close, a different Fiskars kids model designed for younger or early-learner stages may be a better fit.

Perfect for little one to practice cutting. It's sharp enough to cut paper but dull enough to protect injury. Small size but adults can use them too.
From FiskarsProductExpert team
Great to hear! These scissors strike a nice balance—safe for kids but functional enough for adults to use for small tasks.

Works great! Unlike major brand crayola
This is the only scissors that have worked for my toddler to learn how to cut. I have bought name brands in the past and none off them worked except for this one. The only reason I purchased this brand was because it was on sale so I figured it wouldn’t hurt my pocket too much.
From FiskarsProductExpert team
That’s wonderful to hear! The Fiskars 5" Blunt Tip Scissors are designed with little hands in mind, so it’s great they’ve been perfect for your toddler to learn cutting. Sometimes the right fit really does make all the difference—and even better when it’s easy on the wallet!

Not for left handed
The description notes that it is for both right and left handed, however that is not the case. The handles are shaped for right handed. Unfortunately, I wasn’t unable to determine that until I removed the packaging. There also was a mildly sticky coating on the handles as well. I ordered two and the film was on both. Despite recommendations from teacher, I will be looking for a different pair more suitable for my left handed toddler.
From FiskarsProductExpert team
Thank you for sharing your experience. The description for this item doesn’t indicate that the scissors are ambidextrous, although the listing title indicates they are left-handed. We will make efforts to get this corrected and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Good for the price.
Does the job, but feels cheap. Then again they were under two dollars. I had to use a screw driver to loosen the scissors so my son could open and close them easily.
