Q: Are these to small for adult (want something not too high for a pencil holder on a desk)?
submitted by sunnynj - 3 years ago
A: Hello Sunnynj - Thanks for asking! Yes, the scissors are large enough for adults. The blade is shorter, 3.6in., than the full size adult scissors. Have a great day! - Alimatu

I ordered 2 pairs of these for school and they arrived today. Don’t expect some kind of cute color combo like the ones pictured…I got black. Just black, no color. 2 pairs of them. Womp.

It’s a good scissors just think it’s a little too long for kids under 12! Just my opinion but again it’s still sturdy and good quality. Wish I had gotten the color shown in the picture however that’s not the one that was sent to me even though that’s the one I choose
Not 7 in scissors

These are not 7in scissors, they are 7-7/8, almost 8 inch scissors. So if your school supply list asks for 7in scissor, don’t get these. In my opinion, they are too big for 5th grade students. (See a comparison between a true 7in scissor and these)

Adequate for student use but really are 8" scissors (7 7/8"), making them big for smaller hands or projects and an inch longer than other7" scissors. I returned them (thanks to Target's return policy) and ordered 7" scissors elsewhere.
good product.

They will not fit in a crayon box and are actually a little bigger than I expected. But they are great scissors for home!

These are not little for small hands, but they are not the large, skinny blades that warp easily. Good size to put in the junk drawer and use whenever.

Terrible design, catches on paper

Mom 123 - 2 years ago, Verified purchaser
Have never appreciated that 100% of my other scissors were designed so the blade seamlessly glides along as I cut paper. These have a cutting edge with a 90° angle at the base of the blade near the handle, so when the paper reaches that part, it catches. They’re literally the worst scissors I’ve ever owned. Even compared with cheap children’s scissors. Very strange design choice.
