Guests are saying
The recent reformulation of this lotion has left many long-time users disappointed, as they feel it no longer provides the same moisturizing benefits and pleasant scent they cherished. Guests have expressed frustration over the new texture, scent, and overall effectiveness, with many seeking alternatives. However, some guests still appreciate its moisturizing properties and find it effective for their skin. The product's history of reliability makes the changes particularly hard to accept for loyal users.

Bitterly Disappointed
I absolutely hate the Essentially Enriched Body Lotion that replaced the Body Milk Lotion. It's runny and feels greasy and it's hard to smooth over your body. I'm bitterly disappointed they changed the formula on a perfectly good product. Once I'm no longer able to find the Body Milk lotion in discount stores I will be on the hunt for a new lotion after many many years of loyalty! I really hope you would consider either changing the formula back to the original or selling both versions, otherwise you've lost me as a customer. Some things don't need to be changed or improved upon, they are perfect as is.

Bring old formula back
This new formula feels like water on the skin, I don’t know if it’s shrinkflation or what. But please bring the formula back.

Bring back the old 48 hour product
I have been a user of Nivea lotion for a very long time. I use several different ones. The Shea Nourish is great after the shower. I used the Essentially Enriched for my face every morning and every night before bed. The new formula is just not the same. The feel, the scent the way it absorbs. Need to start looking for a new face lotion, very disappointed and sad.

Why??
Another 30 year user disappointed by the new formula. The new scent is sickly sweet, cheap-smelling. I cannot have it on my body. Will be returning it and looking for a replacement. Sigh.

Not a patch on the Nivea extra dry lotion
Does not give the same smooth shine texture to my skin as the old product. Sticky and hard to rub in. Why change something that has been so good and really soften dry skin? I have used Nivea items for over 50years. Time to look for another product. Bye bye Nivea

Hyaluronic acid isn’t for everyone
I write this at 3 am in the morning. Why? Because I was awaken by the scent. Nose and eye irritation from this lotion. The scent is overwhelming strong and my skin was left feeling dry and very itchy. Because the lotion wasn’t absorbing into my skin I felt this layer that didn’t make my skin feel soft, smooth or supple but gritty and dry. Not all of your lotions need to have hyaluronic acid in it, it’s not for everyone. Now I’m extremely disappointed after purchasing a 16 oz for my son and a 33 oz for myself. I don’t know what to do with all this lotion but I cannot use it. I hate when companies change a formula that worked in the past for something THEY feel is best for everyone. I’ve been to several stores and now the website and I’m not seeing the one that worked best for my skin anywhere. What do I do with all this lotion that I can’t use? If you have scent allergies, dry skin, sensitive skin or skin allergies do not use this. There was one that I purchased about a year ago that I can no longer find, bring that one back! The was scent was mild and pleasant and left my skin feeling smooth without extra moisturizers, like oils. If your company feels compelled to have options for people that’s fine, add different selections but keep the formulas that sensitive folks can use please and thank you.

TERRIBLE replacement for Nivea Body Lotion
I have been buying 'Nivea Body Lotion enriched for dry skin' for about 20 years. It was an excellent product. This replacement is horrendous. It feels too thick, smells bad, and the worst is, it feels horrible on my skin - nothing like the previous product. I am looking to other brands after this disappointment. ZERO out of ten Nivea. You've lost my custom.

Sooo disappointed
I am 53 yrs old and have been using Nivea since I am 14, have also both my daughters on it since they’ve little girls. Sooo soo disppointed you ruined this amazing formulas (the skin firming for melanin too got changed) why ? Just why?? This now does NOT absorb, does NOT moisturize and does not leave the amazing sheen I have always adored and has kept my skin supple for years. Feels like you took off whatever ingredient that did these things and added a bunch of water, now the lotion feels like those toiletry ones they give at cheap motels, sorry. BRING BACK the original one, nobody likes this “new” version, is NOT good!!

Formula change
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this particular Nivea since 2014. When I started using it it changed my life, my skin was finally seen and my issues were taken care of. And now over a decade later a crappy formula change ruined my Favorite lotion. I unfortunately am not a fan. The OG was incredible why did you change!?

Bring the old white bottle, blue top lotion back.
Absolute rubbish. Why kill the old product ? Sorry, this has lost any brand loyalty I had for Nivea (including body wash and deodorants)
