Guests are saying
The recent formula change of this lotion has left many guests disappointed, as it no longer absorbs well into the skin and often feels sticky. However, some guests appreciate the new skin firming hydration lotion, which retains a lighter texture and pleasant scent. The cherry blossom scent remains a favorite for its lovely aroma, but the overall effectiveness has diminished for many long-time users. Guests are seeking a return to the original formula that provided better hydration and a smoother application experience.

Almost there
I really this oil infused body lotion. The skin feel is wonderful and it adsorbs quickly. I love the fragrance. I would just like it to see it a bit stronger. I also reviewed the Peach Blossom body lotion and basically said the same thing.

Bring back the old formula
This new formula sucks as it doesn't feel as good as the old one. It's like just sitting on top of my skin instead of softening it. The smell also isn't as good as the old formula. Boo Nivea - bring back the old formulation!!

I HATE THIS NEW FORMULA!!!
the lotion is infused with oil and yet it does not feel like it.. the lotion is hard to rub in and feels like it just sits on top of the skin. After usage my hands feel sticky and weird… i’m trashing the bottle and this will be the last Nivea product i buy if they all are new formula’s

Nivea Skin Firming Hydration
I feel the same way as many of you..always used Nivea Oil infusion lotions for the way it melts into the skin. I'm a user for 20 years and was devastated by the new formulas. But.... I bought the Skin Firming Hydration lotion yesterday and it has similar formula to the old oil infused! Honestly, not sticky, doesn't smell like alcohol! I wouldn't normally buy a skin firming lotion but at my age now it's a plus. Give it a try! You'll be happy. I know I am.

BRING BACK OLD FORMULA PLEASE
This new formula does not absorb into skin. It feels gross and it does not smell good. I used the old one religiously and don’t want to use this new formula at all. I am so sad :(.

New formula sucks!
This has been my favorite lotion before the new formula! I used it daily, loved the smell, the texture, the absorption! The new formula is terrible! It sticks to the skin and doesn't absorb at all! And even after great efforts of rubbing it onto my skin to force absorption, my skin doesn't feel hydrated! Why did you ruin a perfect product? why? Now I'm stuck with a bottle that I can't use, I can't return, and I have to put it in the trash!

Please Bring Back the New Formula
This was the first lotion I ever found that I didn't hate. Usually after applying most lotions, you can feel it on your skin long after it's dried. You couldn't feel this one at all! It was so nice, I was actually using it every day because of how easy it was to apply it and not have to worry about keeping my skin smooth and hydrated. But the new formula doesn't compare in the slightest. The residual, caked on feeling is very prominent now. It doesn't go on smoothly, taking a lot more effort to blend it into the skin to avoid white spots, and even then it's hard for it to completely fade. I was worried when I saw a new formula had come out, but this is beyond disappointing. I intend to return it and start my search for a good lotion again, because this just isn't it anymore. Extremely disappointing, as I'd been recommending this lotion to anyone who was looking. Now I just feel bad for potentially making them buy this new, worse formula. If there's any way for the formula could be changed back I'm sure I would not be the only one to come back, but until then I wish you luck with your enshittification.

Terrible
This completely broke my heart. I knew when I saw the new bottle that that meant consumers were about to be degraded. This was my absolute favorite lotion this scent as well as the coconut scent. The scent is not the same. The quality is not the same. It is not moisturizing at all. This is one of the biggest injustices I was already so heartbroken when Nivea soft changed the formula. The crappy version it is now and I immediately stopped purchasing. I just don't understand why you would do that to your consumer base

Newer is not better 😒
I’ve used this lotion for six or seven years. I recently bought a bottle of the “new formula” and like many others here, I hate it and will not purchase again. It doesn’t absorb into the skin like the original formula and it does not smell anything like the original which was amaaazing. Please bring back the old formula.!

Favorite!
This is my daughter’s favorite lotion out of the dozens we have tried. It moisturizes great, the smell is lovely and it dries quickly and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy afterwards.

Disappointed
The title says it all I’m so upset that you changed the formula of the cherry blossom lotion it’s more oily than the old one and kind of burns a bit now on my dry skin so please change it back I like the older formula better because it’s moisturizing without being too oily and has more of a watery feeling than oily. Bring it back.

BRING BACK OLD FORMULA
I've never written a product review before, but I am genuinely distraught over this formula change. I loved the old formula; it was amazing and my favorite lotion. It has a great smell and amazing light texture. It absorbed into the skin so easily. This new formula is terrible! It smells weird and does not absorb. The texture is like silicon and awful. It is clear they cut corners to make it cheaper to produce. They even have it titled as "oil in lotion" instead of the original "oil-infused" lotion. I will not repurchase this unless they change the formula back.

Lasting effect
Please return the old formula and scent. The lasting effect is so low it’s almost a waste because I have to keep applying it. The old formula would last all day and I have super dry skin which requires a great deal of hydration. The new formula must have quick evaporating liquids and less oil(s) in its content. As far as the scent the new scents are horrible. I smell like I was doused with an entire perfume bottle attacking the olfactory senses. The old scent albeit distinctive, it was milder and pleasantly received by others in close proximity. I have finally given up on Nivea and until the original returns I will be seeking another brand.

Formula Change
The new formula is not nearly hydrating as the old formula. Please bring back the old formula as I will be looking for a replacement. I had used this lotion for years. I hate it when companies say, " new and improved". Which really means "cheapened for more profit."

New formula is not good
The cherry blossom lotion was my husband and I’s favorite lotion until it was changed. The “new formula” does not feel the same and it smells terrible. It literally smells like a dirty armpit. Very disappointed in the recent changes.
