So while these are bulk packaged at 200 per package and non-sterile we have plenty of use for them. These kind of non-woven sponges we keep packaged with our first aid kits (usually kept in packs of 10 in small ziplock or vacuum sealed bags for longer storage), and animal treatment stations at the pens. These are great for wiping down either a wound for us or the animals before more treatment happens, and because of the really low lint content with them we use them for wiping down the equipment before any use to sterilize them with the proper disinfectant. If you're not going through them at a good rate though the packaging can seem overwhelming so make sure you either need to stock this much or you're not just looking for single person home use.The material has a low lint loss when using, it's soft, and if you need to apply it directly to a wound as a stopgap option it does well at not sticking easily to the wound causing issues with changing the dressing later. Overall with our remote location from medical help and a farm full of animals this is a smart choice and high quality without a ridiculous price.

This review is for 4x4 (4 packs of 200)These are great to keep out for emergencies or even to clean around the house with. I've used these for lots of different things. I like to keep most of them in our emergency first aid kits. Our kids play sports so we all know how that goes and how many times they get scrapes or cuts, I like to keep these for emergencies or to just clean up a wound. These are very absorbent and they are the perfect size for all types of wounds. They are very soft and doesn stick to your skin. These gauze pads are also good to apply ointments. These pads could be used for lots of different things around the house also. I've used some for wiping up spills and grease. They are great to have on hand at all times. I got the 4 packs of 4,4 ply-800 count so I should have plenty to do us for a while lol. Would Recommend!!!

Generous amount in a pack. Strong material, clean, and gets the job done. I feel like a school nurse when I use it, and I always have a flashback about it when I use it. Fun times.

These will be great for mopping up messes, which may or may not be on you. They have really good absorbency. As you pull them out of the package, they're 4x4". They can be unfolded to 8x8". They are very strong, even when wet, and resistant to tearing.There are a couple drawbacks. They aren't against the product, but you need to be aware of them. You'll already know, if you read the listing or looked at their photos.1) These are non-sterile. They shouldn't be put directly on wounds. Paper towels are also non-sterile, and shouldn't be put directly on wounds, but we all know you do anyways. If you're using these in a medical field, use them appropriately by your facilities guidelines.2) These are not individually packed. They are 200 pieces per package. That's great if you're mopping up a mess. Not so great if you're using them individually. Ziplock bags are a good way to repackage them into more convenient units, like your camping pack, or your car's first aid kit. They still aren't sterile though, so plan to use them appropriately.If you have your apocalypse bag, or hurricane survival kit, these would do you well there. You have to prepare for many worst cases with those, and in worst cases, you may need a lot of them.

These non-woven sponges are soft and absorbent, and they come in really handy for cleaning and disinfecting wounds. These packages are good for splitting up into first aid kits as well as just keeping around for when they're needed. With my clumsy crew, it seems like there's always a scrape or cut to treat, so I keep these ready to go. My mother had a pressure wound that we treated daily, and these were great for that as well. The price is reasonable for the quality and I'd get these again.

These guys squares are the expected size and texture. They are of nice quality and great for all types of wound care.

I hope I don't need them but am glad I have them. These are not something I have needed to use yet. It is a bulk supply that arrived well packaged. To keep them more sterile I have sealed the package them came in in another plastic bag. There are tons of sponges in this and they would be great for anyone who needs this product in bulk. The quality seems to be great.

These are great, I personally think they are pretty thick for gauze which is a good thing. I took a picture of how big they are compared to a 16.9 oz bottle of water

I used these to care for my foster kittens. They had upper respiratory infections so they needed their eyes and nose cleaned often. These were soft and gentle to use to clean them. The only issue was the package arrived damaged so I had to move them to a large zipper baggie for storage.

Good quality and durable enough. Needed to refill my first aid kit, these will last me a long while.

These first aide sponges work great for people and animals. They are absorbent and soft and come in a nice large supply pack. They are awesome to have in any first aide kit. I use them for the farm animals first aide packs in addition to our first aide kits in our vehicles and hiking back packs. They are a good quality and I recommend these.

These do not come individually packed, which makes them more difficult to distribute in fist-aid kits. I'd also be concerned using them on significant injuries as they are non-sterile. I wish I'd noticed that before ordering.The price is fine for what you get, so long as you're looking for non-sterile, disposable sponges.For wound care use (what I wanted to get these for), I would look elsewhere.

I like to keep first aid sponges on hand just in case we need them and it's nice that these can be used for other uses. Since these are non-woven sponges, they do work for other uses.We have had to use these for wound care since we had a finger wound that wouldn't quit bleeding and needed bandaging. These worked well. We used these along with some medical tape.These are also good for cleaning out my puppy's ears. I can also use these to keep the water out of her ears to begin with.⛵⚓Seas the Day⚓⛵

I work in the food service and I got a small burn in my hand and I needed to cover it to keep working and this woven care gauze is very good absorbing and protecting it. is a big set of 4 pack (200 each) and I took one for my work in case of and emergency like the one I had. they are strong, you can't break them easily with only your hands and they stick very well with surgical tape.

So I always like to get gauze sponges like this, especially in bulk.Unfortunately, I had the opportunity to try these out a week ago on a trail when we were mountain biking. Without going into too much detail, they covered the wound nicely, and they are very absorbent. When it came time to remove the pad from the wound, it was painless and did not leave any little pieces of gauze behind.These are the perfect size for most of the things my family will encounter. They are really soft, and work great if you have sensitive skin. My daughter is a nurse, and she took a look at them and said they are comparable to the ones she uses at work. So if you need to fill up some first aid kits, I think this is a good choice.
