The ball itself is a good size and great for babies who like to put things in their mouth since it adds a sensory-like play with the holes. The color of the ball was not red like I thought it would be however, it was definitely orange. And the little balls inside the one I got were all purple except for 1 of the rattles which was multi-colored.. the picture does not show this. Because of this, I deducted 2 stars.

I'm very picky about toys purely because clutter stresses me out. The color option states red, it is not red, it is orange. The colors of the little balls inside are also not as pictured, 2 out of the 3 circles are filled with all purple balls. However it is soft and easy to hold.

One of my favorite toys for my 4mo old. It’s the first toy he could grab and hold himself. The design makes it easy for little hands to grab. I can hold it above his head shaking it and he’ll just stare at it for a long time. He grabs it and holds it and tries to eat it. I think he’ll like this for many months because eventually he can roll it/throw it/etc. The slight rattle noise is really soft and not annoying at all. I also bought the smaller green rattle version of this which is very similar and I like that too. If I could only have one I’d choose this ball.
