Works like a charm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s not very heavy it covers a good range of area outside. It is extremely effective very clean smelling and very clean looking. I’ve never used a citronella before until now and now I understand why I’ll be using it when I go camping. Have you used it for two days now?

Bug Free

I really love the textured exterior and of course it’s just unwrap and light for spectacular evening.

Did keep the bugs away
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been having some storms here so having this candle to get rid of the after the rain flying bugs, especially the mosquitoes, was perfect. It was easy to light and stayed lit until I put it out. I did find that the size of it was small, so I would suggest to make it bigger than what it is now. I didn't notice any scent to it but it did keep the buggers away while we enjoyed sitting on our porch.

Great bug candle

It has a fresh citrus scent that’s pleasant without being being overpowering, and it creates a cozy atmosphere for relaxing outside in the evenings. Pretty but single wick is not enough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m delicious and unfortunately mosquitos know it…so I’m always actively seeking anything out that might ward them off, particularly during summer when we’re outside all day by our pool! This is a beautiful candle even if it wasn’t for mosquitos but sadly this one just doesn’t cut it by itself. We had to add a citronella plant to even subsidize it because one wick versus hundreds of mosquitos is crazy. It’s no wonder these 18oz single wick ones were on clearance at some stores versus their 23oz, 3 wick siblings that are doing quite well. One wick on a candle, whether it was a huge candle or a teeny tiny tea candle, is just not enough to have any impact. For now I’ll keep lighting for morale but I’m not trusting it enough by itself to forgo the spray as well.

Almost there.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had really high hopes for the because the mosquitos love me unfortunately. I just think it needs to be bigger! Also the packaging isn’t the best. My candle wasn’t even attached to the tin, if I flipped it over it fell out like nothing. I do love the smell so I that’s why I gave it 3 stars. It’s very oily so be careful with that. It worked somewhat I just need it to be bigger for that price point.

Not what I expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off all easy to find in any stores, it keeps the mosquitoes away but just in the area where is the candle. But the wicks doesn’t burn properly, it will just do a hole in the middle and wouldn’t burn on the sides. Size is okay for the price, the packaging it’s not the best they could do better.

Great Bug Candle

We're able to eat outside without mosquitoes bothering us. The candle creates a nice ambiance and is in a decorative container. Works but awful candle smell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This candle actually works pretty well at preventing mosquitoes. We’ve used it all night and it has worked great! However, the smell of the candle is awful. It’s kind of a citrus and chemical smell, which I know is commonly found in outdoor candles and bug sprays. I wish it had a better smell. The size of the candle is large and it lasts 40 hours, which will be awesome for the summer time! I would recommend if you can ignore the smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This citronella candle really wards off any bugs and especially mosquitoes, I absolutely despise mosquitoes and they are everywhere in my back porch and front porch, this candle has been amazing at warding them off and It’s lasts a great amount of time for us and we only light it while we’re outside so this will last us a good while. The smell isn’t too strong but I think it actually smells pretty good in my opinion. Perfect for those barbecues outside and any family time spent outside to keep the bugs away. Very impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live near a lake and surrounded my fields full of grass so the bugs and mosquitoes are so bad that it’s hard for us to be outside but let me tell you this off backyard candle has helped with less mosquitoes making it easier to be outside! It’s just like a candle that burns so it created that citronella smell that mosquitoes done like. The packaging is very pretty and not just in a plain ugly candle holder. Overall this candle is safe to use and works efficiently. Definitely will repurchase

Smells so good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smell of citronella, the candle smells really strong even when it’s not lit. I have it on my kitchen counter when it’s not being used and lit, and it still smells up my home. I light the candle outside in the evening when the mosquitos are at their peak and although I did get a mosquito bite I did notice that it was significantly less than what it would usually be. The Wick also burns the wax very slowly, which I enjoy because it means I get more product. I recommend this candle!

But honestly the smell is so light and delightful. I'm just going to leave it in the house as a decorative candle.
