Recommend to lighted at least 15 minute before heading outside to reduce the presence of mosquitoes and gnats within a close radius with the limited in wind conditions. The citrus scent pleasant and subtle enough, not to overpower. This candle can burn up between 25 to 40 hours. However, it depends on the windy condition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scent of this OFF backyard citronella candle is pleasant and smells fruity. It’s simple to use by lighting it up with the lighter. However, the wick is somehow in the bottom not the center which makes it difficult for me to light up. On the other hand, it does reduce the number of mosquitoes when we use it. It’s a practical candle, but needs improvement on the wick.

Sturdy reusable candle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used this candle over the weekend and it worked wonderful it helped keep all the bugs away. It was perfect size. It fits anywhere that you place it. It’s in the super cute packaging and I love that you can use it multiple times. It’s also super sturdy. It doesn’t move at all. What I love the most is that it prevented me from getting eaten by the mosquitoes.

It works
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Off backyard citronella candle works well. I’ve been using it for a little over a month during this hot southern California summer. I enjoy sitting outside in the summer evening in the backyard. However, we do get a good amount of mosquitoes. Since using this candle at our backyard table, it really seems to deter the insects and keep us bite free it also smells pretty good. I recommend it and we get getting more for the future.

Smells ok, but not for large areas

These candles have the distinct citronella smell, but don't cover a wide range of area. I also wish they had a cover so I wouldn't have so many bug in the candle when they're not lit.

It did not. The candle was easy to light and it burned evenly. The scent was noticeable but not overpowering. It didn't keep the mosquitoes away though.
