[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wax bowls are quite heavy, hard to carry. They do work though, just light them up and put them down outside and no mosquitoes. The scent is not overwhelming and lingers for a little then goes away.

The nights have been cooler so perfect time to enjoy the outdoors, without bugs and mosquitoes bothering me. Its so nice that this pretty citronella candle keeps all pests away from me and guests for hours without the heat of a fire. The dish is so pretty and is a great decoration piece.

The Tiki ceramic white concrete bowls are heavy enough, I would not have to worry about them blowing away. They only have a paper cover for a lid so I would not storage them where they will get weather. The smell was strong when I opened the box when they were delivered, but very mild after they aired out in my sunroom. After lighting them, the scent is very mild. Make sure you keep them trimmed enough or the flame will burn your bowl, especially if you would like to keep the bowl for something else when it’s done. Overall, I haven’t been bitten by any bugs while using so I would say that it works.

This three-wick candle is large and will burn for hours. The citronella scent is strong enough to discourage pests but does not overwhelm or is even very noticeable. It was effective at clearing away flies and mosquitoes which usually bother us in our outdoor areas. I really like the design and the high quality of these candles. I feel like they add a stylish statement to our outdoor activities. I love that these candles come in a two-pack so I can have them burning in two areas at once. Great product. Very well done. I did not realize how large they are! Its a three-wick candle. It has a light, not over powering smell to it. It has burned EVENLY - which is a fantastic thing. It has definitely has assisted with keeping the mosquitos and other bugs away while we are outside. And I love the look of these too! All in all, FANTASTIC to have for your outdoor space. First of all, these candles are set in beautiful, concrete bowls, so they stay safely in place outside. I love the color and minimalist look of these candles. They have three wicks, which all burn evenly. The flame really holds up, even in windy conditions. Mosquitoes are horrible where I live, but thanks to these candles, I can once again enjoy sitting outside with my dogs. I would definitely purchase these again because they look so nice and work great to keep unwanted bugs away!

First, it's super nice that this comes in a two pack because I feel like it covers as large of an area as I would like without having to buy multiples. The design is classic and universally pleasing - the neutral color is perfect for my deck design. Most importantly, though, I felt like this really did the job of repelling mosquitos which is one of my major pet peeves when I'm outside.

They effectively and consistently repelled mosquitoes. The smell is pleasant and doesn't burn your throat when you're smelling it. The candle presentation is very pretty.

I lit the candles on our deck for the people that were not swimming so that they wouldn't get bit up. I don't feel like it was particularly windy out but I had to re-light the candles two times. The third time they blew out, I just blew the whole candle out. Even with just 1 of the flames working, the candle still did a tremendous job of keeping bugs away. While we were outside eating and the Citronella Wax Bowl was still lit, I did not get bit up at all and the bugs were staying away as I had food.

When you order online, it’s always hard to tell if the product will look as nice in person. But these bowls were even bigger and better than I expected! The ceramic bowls are beautiful, classy, and timeless. They match any decor and are great for keeping bugs away, which is why I chose these to use on our covered deck.
