    root much sugar

    this jerky is way too sweet. brown sugar and sugar are listed as the second and third ingredient. there is no reason to add sugar at all, let alone have it be 2 of the 3 largest ingredients. I will make sure to purchase sugar free jerky in the future.

    Disappointed

    First of all, I want to say that I am usually blown away but the quality of all Good & Gather products ..until now. The beef jerky is in really big hard chunks. you can't even tear it with your teeth. I had to throw half the bag away. it was not even the least but edible.

    Beware of tendons and gristle!

    I used to love this Jerky. It was my a great snack , sometimes meal for me and my four boys up until late 2025 when the quality plunged. The cuts used to be thick, tender, and juicy but now they are smaller, have more gristle and I swear they are adding chopped up tendons because some pieces can't be chewed up and have to be spit out. My 4 year old and I both almost choked on a piece! it's gotten so bad, I stopped buying it...

    They only carry their house brand beef jerky in the value size at my store. I usually grab a bag of Jack Links whenever I go as Target has a good price. I would not get again. Flavor and texture was not enjoyable. Bummer to only have the one option now.

    Yuck.

    We used to love this jerky but the last bags we’ve gotten have been absolutely disgusting. They taste like fish and chemicals. Hopefully it was just a bad batch and they didn’t change their formula. Might be a while before we try this again, especially since Target raised their price.
