Q: I just purchased this bed it say the cover comes off but i don't see how as the zipper is only on one side and doesn't go around the whole bed?

A: This bed washes very well when you take out the foam from the bottom section. The foam on the sides remains inside the cover but it really does wash well.

submitted byKasey - 4 years agoTarget staff supportA: They lied. You cannot remove the cover! You don't need to wash the foam fill (and shouldn't) and I guess you remove it and put the entire bed in the wash. Seems like it will ruin the bed. Not good!

A: I saw the same thing you did, for human mattress sizes. I couldn't find an extra-large model, but by knowing the small and medium maybe you can extrapolate the larger size. I looked this bed up on another site because I wanted to know as well. The only one I could find is the Medium: Item Dimensions LxWxH 28.75 x 19.75 x 13 inches And Small: Item Dimensions LxWxH 20.6 x 17.7 x 5.6 inches

this dog bed is awesome!
I bought this for my rescue dog in April 2022 and it's still going strong! She loves it! I line the inside with a folded up bath towel so I can at least wash the towel every week or 2. My doggo is about 55 lbs and fits just fine in the size L.

Super cute but not practical. Misled to believe bed is ‘Washable’. First puppy accident ruined the ‘non-washable’ filling. Which by the way was very difficult to remove! Lasted less than one day. Do not recommend for puppies.

The fabric is tough enough for puppy's teeth and the need to chew, chew, chew. The soft pillow he seems to really enjoy. I like how the bed stays put wherever you place it due to the skid proof bottom.

Good Bed, Poor stuffing
This is a really nice bed. However, two things led me to down rate it. 1) The stuffing is polyurethane chunks, which could be bad for health. 2) You have to remove the polyurethane pouches to wash it--putting them back in is a hassle.

Not washable
It's a well made bed but it's impossible to wash. The zipper is placed in a strange location and I couldn't get the entire cover off to wash it. I tried tossing the whole thing in my large washing machine but the shape of the bed meant large sections were still left uncleaned. Also, why is the shearing portion on dog bed always white? It shows dirt and smudges super easily.

Large size is perfect for our boxer puppy who is 40 lbs and will fit him at his full-size too. The shape (rectangle) bed is what I’d been looking for and takes up leas room than the large circles and square beds. The edges are firm enough that he can use them like a pillow too. The color is a little lighter than I expected but works great to know when to wash it. I have not washed the cover yet but hopefully it holds up as advertised
