OtterBox iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) Defender Series Case - Black

The screen had scuff marks, felt cheaper than usual OtterBox cases.

I'm always impressed with how robust the protection is on these cases but they also need to be functional. I work on construction sites and I need to be able to clip the cover to the back of the case when I'm on a job site. The problem I'm having is that I can't keep my Apple Pencil attached to the charging patch on the ipad with the cover clipped to the back. This, without the clear screen protector lifting off the screen. This is my second Defender case and I didn't have this problem with my last iPad Air. I'm hoping OtterBox will fix this issue for my new iPad Pro and send me a new one.

The stand case came apart on the first day, it popped out of where it’s supposed to be, I put it back in and hide to tighten it so the part stayed put. The plastic part where the pencil can go also came off, that one broke off and can’t be put back in. It feels sturdy, it should survive a fall but other than those flimsy parts the case itself is good.

i feel very confident using my new ipad day to day knowing that this case will provide great protection while still having a very low profile and avoiding bulk!

Didn’t like the plastic screen protector that’s built in so removed it and it works good

I like the Otterbox (have others in past) with the exception of the cheap stand that sticks in one position. The stand is useless and makes any future Otterbox purchase unlikely.

The OtterBox case is the perfect iPad protection unit. It offers 360* protection removable hard shell that doubles as a stand. The case offers pen charging at the top an storage in the back.

Rear stand is cheap and already broke! The plastic knobs that slide and keep it in place are small and too brittle.

Stand portion of the otterbox broke within the first week. Its design & materials were very inferior to the remainder of the case. Case itself appears to be well made & should provide adequate protection for the rather fragile iPad Pro. Now all I need to do is find a stand that will work with this case.

Classic OtterBox, a few tweaks needed. If you aren’t using an Apple Pencil, there is one area the front cover doesn’t protect. Also I’m not sure if I’m a huge fan of the tilt mechanism. But a classic safe case for your iPad otherwise!

It’s nice and thick and protected but the pen door came off and the back stand does not work

The case fits snugly around the iPad and feels sturdy.

I like the case seems durable and will protect your iPad. The snap on front which doubles as the stand seems flimsy and does not easily lock into one position without fiddling with it. Overall the case does what it’s supposed to do. I really wish it came in more colors ridiculous that it only comes in black. Why?

I love my box! It’s rugged and safe! I like that it has a stand up support. It’s easy to use.

I like it. The kick stand is a little difficult to use, but over all works well.

Great cover lighter then the last version, the tilt option seems week when opening

I had high hopes for this case for my new iPad. The case makes the nice lightweight iPad go from seemingly paper light, to heavier than a book. It definitely would protect the iPad from a fall, which is good. But, for the 13 inch size, to add so much extra weight, it was very difficult to manage and use, i tried my best but it is heavy and awkward. The built in screen protector, is nice for protection, but affects the way the Apple Pro Pencil functions. It does not work well on the drawing app Procreate using this case, and I would not recommend it if you are using your iPad for art or writing with your Apple Pencil. You have to press harder with the pencil. The screen cover will definitely dull out your pen tip. I did try to put my own cover on it to make the protective case work, since I do tend to drop things, but it just didn’t work out. It is very overpriced for what it is. The pros: Will be good protection if it falls Nice quality case, thought went into the making and design Good for travel protection wise if in a backpack The cons: Extremely heavy Bulky Difficult to install The screen cover does affect the Apple Pencil Pro and the way it writes. You have to press much harder and it wears down the pencil. Difficult to remove and put back on, time consuming, so if you want the protection of the case at times, to switch out cases to something lighter for home use, that is something else to consider. Overall, i really wanted to like the case/love the case. But it was very hard to use on the iPad. Like i mentioned before, nice for protection especially if you travel, but for every day use, I would not prefer this case. It is also nearly impossible to draw in procreate with the built in screen protector.
