I’ve had an otter for my iPad for many years and I love it. As it was getting ratty I decided to buy a new one. I love the color and it’s sturdy enough, but… I hate the fact that they changed the pen holder! It’s awkward to take out and it does not close neatly as the other one did over the pen for travel. I wish you would stick with a design if it works and not constantly run after novelty.

The case itself protects the iPad really well and I love the color choices but the reason I give it a three star review is because it has an iPad pencil holder that pulls out, but comes off too easily, and it’s almost impossible to put back on. It requires so much pressure to snap it back in. After that it frequently pops off. The pencil holder was one of the reasons I bought this case. The price of the case for that to happen any time you grab your tablet is my issue.

I wanted to love this as I have been an otterbox fan for YEARS, but this one missed the mark. The Apple Pencil holder broke off the first week. After about two weeks the case would not stay in place to hold the iPad upright. Very disappointing for an otterbox.

I hate this case so much! The rubber trim is stretched on one side so it won’t lie flat against the side of the iPad, the pencil tray comes loose every time I pick up the case with a pencil in the tray. Now the rubber edge of the pencil tray has come loose along all but an inch of its length and I have only had an Apple Pencil for 3 months.I bought this case less than a year ago when I upgraded my iPad and, for the price, I expected much better quality. I’ve bought much less expensive cases that have been far more durable. We have been such fans of the Defender case for the iPhone so I’m very disappointed with this purchase.

I can’t open it without fingernails… it’s likely easier if you slide out the stylus holder, but you still have to use your fingernails… Which, if you’re constantly trimming your nails back, makes this nearly impossible. And my seven-year-old daughter cannot open it without help.. a millimeter of gap anywhere would have been so nice. Overall, I’m pretty happy. Though, I wonder overtime if the hinge will get a little too loose. At the moment it’s nearly too wobbly. We got this because it was thin and we wanted to draw with it. The tablet itself is way too slippery. So a nice thin case like this is very helpful for drawing. And the way up into a triangle is adequate through drawing.

The Apple Pencil holder broke off on my first trip away from home. It is very flimsy, and was my first comment when I put a pencil in it. I managed to mostly reattach the pencil holder, but am positive at some point the pencil will simply disappear when the pencil holder pops off or the pencil pops out, since it can never be stowed

I received this case as a warranty item as the case I had originally purchased was not available. This is the worst case that I have ever had. Firstly, the slide to hold the apple pencil is not functional. It is hard to get at the pencil and it constantly comes off from the case. Secondly, when I have the case in the folded position and set on a table, it is always collapsing. I never had these issues with my earlier version of the 360.
