A: No. Planned obsolescence- you will need to purchase a new ring sizer since this version of the ring is thinner and therefore will fit/be sized differently than the prior version 4. Oura and your marketing company, if you’re listening, it would be great if you would provide the new size chart for free for current subscribers who have the prior version of the Oura ring. Would be a great opportunity to provide some customer goodwill.

A: Mine was the same size as the 4. The guy talked me into a sizng kit as I got a $10 gift card. Oura needs to put the sizing rings out at the store. Ordering online I can see a use for it.

A: Per Oura Rings website: Oura Ring 5 is waterproof up to 100 meters (~330 feet), meaning that you can wear it while showering, swimming, or partaking in recreational diving (e.g. snorkeling), but we don’t recommend using your Oura Ring while scuba diving or keeping it submerged underwater for over 12 hours. Chlorine will not damage it. Oura Ring operating temperature ranges from -10–52°C / 14–125°F. You can safely wear your Oura Ring in the shower, hot tubs, saunas, ice baths, and cryotherapy tanks. However, extended exposure to extreme temperatures (below -20°C / -4°F or above 60°C / 140°F) may lead to battery damage.

A: The ring cannot directly track blood sugar levels but the Oura App does have integration with the consumer version of the STELO Continuous Glucose Monitor from Dexcom.
