Fake dimmer?
The dimmer knob looks at feels like a dimmer knob, but it turns on at full brightness through the whole range. This is using the included dimmable LED bulb as well as well trying an incandescent, which should work with any true dimmer. There’s no other explanation for why it won’t dim unless it wasn’t wired right, or is a defective or counterfeit internal component. Otherwise it works, but not as advertised.

I love this lamp, I think it's the cutest ever! The dimmable feature is really nice as well. But like many others, mine stopped working after about a year and a half. It's such a bummer because I'd like to replace it, but reading through the reviews tells me I will run into the same problem again later, and it's too expensive for me to keep rebuying over and over :( It did occasionally flicker for me, but it wasn't so bad that it was unusable or anything. I'm BEGGING for the manufacturer to fix the electrical components of this lamp! I don't want to be without mine :(
